Hello, everyone. I didn't see this as an option so it probably isn't, but I am wondering if it is possible to preview my blog post before I actually publish it. The last couple

Great question and great answers

Thanks. I appreciate you reading.

You are very welcome

Good question as you are the same as me. Trying to edit before publishing. Once you hit publish you are going to edit on the wordpress and adjust images. And on the right side corner you will find the edit and there is option for draft or private status.

By changing the status while you are editing before re-publishing the content on wordpress.

Thanks a lot. I think I saw that the first time I posted to my blog but forgot about it. I'm going to have to check it out again.

You're welcome.

Do you mean preview on WA before publishing.. Even if you publish your blog you can edit and change..

It does take time to get index on the Google

I meant posting to my blog on WA, not my website. It doesn't bother me for the most part having to edit the post after publishing. The last time I posted to my blog, though, I realized the images weren't, exactly, where I intended them to be. I went in and corrected the images and noticed that someone posted a comment.

I know what you mean, Sandi! I immediately look at it right after I publish!

Jeff

if you create it within your site then there is a preview button
if it is within sitecontent - then no ....you will need to publish it and then go to your site and edit the post to draft - then edit the post and click on preview to make sure it is up to your standards
you do realise that on different monitor widths it will appear different alon with bein dispalyed on mobile....
so as long as it contains all hte elememts you want and it moves your audience to do what you want it to do then....
good luck

Thanks, Phil. I do know there is a difference in how it looks depending on the size of the monitor. I was more concerned about the position of the image than the size of it. I just like being able to preview things like when I am using WordPress. It took me a long time to give up on creating my website with HTML and CSS because the WordPress templates don't offer the control I crave.

you definitely don't have the control yiou had with pure html - but it does make it a lot more accessible for a lot more people...
maybe using one of the page builders like elementor or beaver builder wiould ive you back more control...

Thanks. On one of my other sites, I actually use the HTML editor in the site builder for the blog. It gives some control but not complete. HTML/CSS take more time to produce but I really love writing the code. I opted for the easy way out for my initial websites but, once I get them up and running, I think I will write the code myself with my next site. It is true that the site builders give more people the ability to design their own websites, which is a good thing.

Hi, there isn't a preview in WA site content vs if you were editing it in Wordpress where you can click to preview.

Once you publish a post from site content, you can only then edit it in Wordpress. They work independently.

Thanks. I thought so but wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.
