One Heck of A Journey - So Far
So... What has my WA journey thus far been like? A-W-E-S-O-M-E!... Great training, great community supprt, and I must say great support from the WA support team.
It has been exactly one month, as of March 19, 2018 since I joined WA and I have enjoyed every minute of every hour I have spent working on setting up my WA online business - even those times when I have felt completely lost - because I knew that Help Was There. Now I like to refer to myself as an IMer (short for Internet Marketer): hence one of my domain names IMerArticles.com.
My background for most of my adult life has been as an entrpreneur. I have overseen a variety of businesses in the U.S., in construction, financial services, and even the cellphone industry as well as an import business and a language school in Japan. So I am no newbie to being my own boss. What I am used to, however, is dealing face to face with clients.
My new journey (after having retired), venturing into the world of online marketing, although fairly recent, has been a very different experience for me. One that without the support of a great community, as well as that of strong and reliable company support, coupled with an extensive and excellent step-by-sptep training program would, no doubt, not have been very pleasant.
I can say this with certainty because prior to joining WA I attempted several other programs, mostly to test the waters in hopes of finding what I felt would be a good fit not only for my needs but also for the level of standards I had set. Needless to say, I spent a lot of time and money during my first six months of searching. I won't say "wasted" because I did learn "A Lot".
It was because of this experience that I was able to 'almost' instantly feel that I had finally found what I WAs (pun intended) looking for - In WA. I'm actually still working one other program as it was pretty costly and I do believe the postential for growth is there. I am, nevertheless, 100% committed to my Wealthy Affiliate business, and am determined to make this my WA IMer success story.
I admit that I've been a bit all over the board as it may regard to my training. This has been mostly due to the fact that domain names and websites are the two things that I learned very early on I need to try to understand and have as quickly as possible, so I did come in "sort of" prepared in those areas. Although far from where I want it to be, I do have my website (basics) pretty much set up. Now I want to focus on making corrections to any content and working on improving my SEO for each page.
In brief: I am a Premium Member, I have secured various domain names, I have created (the basics of) my website, my site is live, I am on track to completing course 2 (lesson 10 as of this post). And, of course, the main reason why we all put so much time and effort into our WA business... I'm Ready To Make My Efforts Pay-Off!
