In the past, I had attempted the list of companies to review for the affiliate site I had created. Well, guess what I did!? I let myself get consumed by all the products.

Hi Samantha,

No, you definitely DO NOT need to do reviews to be successful and earn "Big Bucks" as you put it.

The success of your website comes down to connecting with people who are looking for something specific. The goal of your content is to offer information that will help your audience. In many cases a review will be relevant and helpful, but this all depends on what your visitors are looking for. Many people search for information on products and services before making purchase decisions online and are specifically looking for reviews. Personally I do this all the time before buying. If you choose to do reviews, just make sure you do your own research and offer your own opinions about the products/services. Reviews should be thorough, factual, and genuine. You want to offer your readers something a review that is complete and helps them understand what the product is and how it may help them.

Hope this helps,

Carson

Thank you, Carson. I do have a lot of products that I use that I would love to share. They are not affiliate products, but they are everyday household products that keep our family of five in a clean, organized home. So from what I understand that would be a great addition to my how-to's, but I don't have to make them my focus...thank goodness! In the meantime I can avoid all the affiliate guru's and education programs that blast me with a ton of emails and charge an "arm and leg"...just to see the most amazing video in the world lol, the game-changer, the change your life in 30 mins lol...I think you get the point.

Nope!

You don't need to do reviews. While reviews can be very profitable (because the reader is already considering a purchase), you don't HAVE to do it.

There are other kinds of quality content, such as distilled information, how-to articles, etc.

However, you also do not need to BUY a product to review it. Nathan has a great guide for reviewing products without purchasing them.

Thank you I will take a look. What is distilled information?

Thank you

For Example,

I want my Wealthy Affiliate Review to fall under my page for product reviews. I want to make additional posts to my Getting Started page as well.

Thank

Unfortunately I could not use the video because It had different "theme" settings than mine. However, a little poking around and I figured it out.
-First you have to create categories under the categories tab. You can't do anything until you've done this first.
-Second, you go to your posts page, and select a post. In the Edit your post "mode" you can add it to a category. The option to do this on my page was on the lower right hand side.
-Third, you go to menus. This is where you can add your category to a specific page on your menu.

Whew, it did take me a minute or two to figure that out,

Sam

I see you got answer, I did not know, I watched the video too

I see you got a good answer all the best

I think this is what you are asking for. Enjoy

Hi Tommy. This is good to remember and I shall use it ones. But just to be certain because video screen was not clear: you keep posting things and new posts appear in the usual way on the homepage as a blog role. Do you immediately click for each newly added post where to be distributed in the drop-down menu? If so, does it mean that such a new post is in the same time on the blog role and in the drop-down menu? Thanks.

The podt show up on your blog roll automaticly you have to add it to your menu.

I understand how to find keywords....
What I want to know is:

  • Do you use keywords for your title alone, or do you include them in your article as well?
  • Is

I see you already got your answer, I actually knew that one

I sometimes just write freely and see what happens all the best

Hi. You use your keyword or keyword phrase in your title and then again in your first paragraph (one time). You should only use one keyword per post as well. If you use more, Google may get you for keyword spamming.

So, after using the keyword in your title and once in the first paragraph, just write your article freely from there. :) Michelle

Thank you for your knowledge!
