What Challenges do you Face in Your Business?
HERE is the Challenge.
I may not be the first or the only one to telling you that challenges in your online business may not be easy to over come, especially if your are a newbie. I am not a college graduate and I do not claim to be some guru of marketing. However, I have been a consumer for years. I have seen online businesses succeed, but I have seen more fail.
Amazingly most will fail because they think it is in their marketing champaign or they just do not know what they are doing wrong. In reality it is the management of time along with their honest with the consumer. I am a firm believer that companies will succeed based on their customer service and honesty. Customer service starts with your initial contact with the visitors to your web site.
The contact with consumers is almost self explanatory if you truly know why they are there. Contact with other affiliates, especially if they are in the same business as you are, becomes the challenge. Each affiliate thinks their produce or service is better than the next. In turn, they need to watch what each other is doing. What is working and what is not. Affiliates are competing for the same visitor and market. Getting the visitor to favor your product or service over the next become even more of a challenge.
Here is where the challenge comes into place. I have been on public safety for over 20 years. I have had to learn how to convince people at times that they needed medical attention. Try getting a homeless man to seek medical attention for frost bite in the middle of the winter. Taking him away from his shopping cart which is the only thing he owns in the world.
While working online you need to get noticed and gain a reputation before moving forward. Seeing and talking directly to the consumer has much more value than an e-mail or a strategically placed ad on social media. In the social media we need to market our business in a multitude of ways from written content to videos and more.
The affiliates need to increase there connections by having that physical connection whenever possible. This connections made with other affiliates helps us succeed together, it is so much easier to place a name with a face. Comparing notes about the tactics that work and the tactics that do not work so well. There may even be that need that focused meeting in a chat room instead of a long draw out communication via e-mails.

I think the biggest obstacle for me is just putting more money into my marketing techniques. Once I do that (which will be very soon), I should be a lot more successful.

Time Management can be a very broad niche. The shiny object you can focus on are some tools you use to manage you time.
How do you organize your daily calendar?
What time do you use to promote?
When are you creating content?
Which is your favorite time management tools?
I need to reduce the amount of time it takes to develop each post. Perhaps I am too much of a perfectionist in my writing but it seems to take forever for each one. Because of this, I don't post enough.
As a woman of few words I find writing long articles very challenging, fortunately I found a tool that helps me focus on getting more info out of my brain and that of others :) .
Finding a very good keyword is another challenge, not itself but the time needed to research that really good keyword.
Third is maintaining my ranking in Google.

I too have a very broad niche and trying to offer something unique is the hardest part!
Attempting to narrow done a wide niche can be a challenge. I had some difficulty with one of my niches. I narrowed done a radio control vehicle hobby niche into ariel RC vehicles. Yet I think I maybe narrowing this down even more.
I am going to try to be the 'Progressive' of book stores and am working on that now, hope to get it done soon!
