Struggling and Juggling

This is a though a came up with after some communication with another WA member the other day. The Struggling to keep moving forward and the Juggling of our everyday live.

The Struggling:

Every one of us has those days when we struggle to create content. The mind just does not want to focus and we start to wander. This of it like the moth in the light or as some of us say the "Shinny Light Syndrome."

We begin to start creating what we feel will be our next big traffic drawing creation. Next minute we find ourselves looking into the shinny light becoming distracted. Time passes us by as we struggle to pick up where we leave off.

Then there are those time when we just become overwhelmed with the information we are finding in WA we loose track of time add the day is over. We struggle to get what we planed on done. The struggle of creating while getting and education. This is part of why Kyle tells us to create after each lesson. To keep up focused on the content creation.

THE JUGGLING:

This is becoming my biggest problem in recent weeks. Trying to juggle a full time job, creating content, kid activities, family actives, and added events that come with summer. We need to prioritize all own tasks in a limited amount of time.

The first priority should always be the children and family. I am a firm believer in this concept. Some may overlook this as they climb to success, only to realize in the end what is lost. The time we spend with own children and family can never be replaced.

We have all heard the saying "They grow-up too fast." But how many of us have actually sat back to really look at how fast they do grow up. If you have children you know exactly what I am saying.

Remember the day your first child was born. Then it seems like its time to send them off to their first day of school. Within the blink of an eye they are graduating from high school or college.

SUMMARY:

I will not get into details. The struggling and juggling can be limited with aggressive time management. The struggles by adding a way for you to focus on creating content that you are comfortable with. Remember that your content does not have to be perfect. The best content I have seen is content that is created in a short time with personality and honesty.

The Juggling is the most difficult of all. Creating a time management schedule that includes unlimited time for the things that mean the most to you. While not ignoring other tasks, you will need to make time and schedule time for specific tasks. Some tasks may only get attention once or twice a week, others will need attention every day.

I think the key is that it must be fun to build website

Yes it is FUN!!!

I just like you children and full-time jobs.
I get up half an hour earlier in the morning and working with my context there.
I scheduled my life, and tried to get done so I still think it's nice. Jay made a nice webinar that you might benefit from.
It works for me

I have reviewed that webinar. You are right he make some good points.

It has certainly helped my structure using the calendar

Totally agree! When I feel overwhelmed, I have to sit back and restructure what I'm doing and perhaps set smaller goals that are easier to achieve.

GREAT Idea I love sharing with folks. I do almost the same things. My mind wanders at times. Best way to over come this I found is with creating small goals.

It's a struggle every day, but with a little time management, I'm slowly getting my days under control!

So true! I go through this everyday! : )

Yeah kind of ironic that's the kind of day I've had. Juggling to get things done around the house and struggling to get the content written before bedtime which then becomes harder as I feel exhausted.......I feel invigorated by all this and really love how alive it makes me feel.

The alternative for me was boredom and lack of motivation. I am mentally stimulated with all the knowledge here and that I still need to acquire.

When it gets to be too much I give myself permission to take few days off and then jump right back in after a mental and physical break!

I might just make a success of this by accident....or is that by purpose?

Thank you for your well thought out and written post. I took a deep breath after reading it.
All the best,
Angela

Some folks make the statement that they do not or will not take a break. I agree with you 100%. It's always good to take a day off here and there just to clear the mind.

I think we all struggle with things every day Ken - and just do the best we can. We (or I should say I) know I don't always get it right but it is a great feeling when we know we have done the best we can.

Juggle your way to greatness, Ken!
