Setting Goal - Be SMART!
The New Year is the best time for Resolution and Goal setting to plan and grow your business.
Goal setting has to be SMART
( Measurement, Attainable, Relevant and Time-bound )
You can design the planning on a Mind Map, print it out and place on the board. Or write them down on a whiteboard you can see them every day.
Decide on what is that big goal for the year 2017. Then, break it down into smaller goals. List the things you need to do for the daily, weekly and monthly to achieve that big goal.
Do not set a goal too high as they may be too difficult to attain and achieve. Too many goals can also spread you thinly and not able to focus on doing the things well.
Unrealistic Goals, like telling yourself you want to make $$$ by end year or getting a huge email name list will not be likely to take place.
Give a deadline for all the smaller goals and track its results. Focus and prioritise on the things according to the plan.
Learn to say “No” on other works that may interrupt with your assignment of work. Monitor your progress objectively.
Have a strong mindset. Train your mind until it forms the right behaviour pattern of the positive attitude in your work.
Get some Motivating Quotes and Inspiring Stories to help lift your spirit. Imagine seeing your achievement and stay firm to making it into reality.
Reward and celebrate each time you have achieved small successes. Don’t wait till the result of the big goal.
