Hi Ross,

There's certainly something going on with your computer, likely your browser.

Ensure that you are allowing Javascript and cookies for WealthyAffiliate.com

What browser are you using? Sometimes web browsers that are not up to date or are not compliant with web standards can cause problems. What I suggest doing is downloading and installing Google Chrome.

It's free and you can get it from here:

http://www.google.com/chrome

Install Google Chrome and let me know if you still experience the same issue.

I suggest using Google Chrome as your default browser too for everything you do online. I hope this works for you.

Hey Ross,

Contacting SiteSupport may be your only option, as no one in the community has access to your login information.
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support

Hope this helps you.

Those buttons dont even work, so theres no way to access site support

I will give Carson a nudge for you Ross. Hang in there.

Im going to try another internet browser, just downloading firefox, but thank you for your help as well
- Ross

Oooh... I assume (stupid me) that you had already tried that. I've already sent Carson a private message with the URL to this.

Just wondering why they tell me every-time i go premium its in Canadian funds for $51.00, But I have been getting hit for 70+ Dollars. I think its just a means to make yearly l

Membership is $19USD for the first month, then $49USD per month. All transactions online tend to use USD as their centralized currency and if you are from Canada you are subject to exchange rate fluctuations (which currently are not the best).

Since we are Canadian, we are also obligated by Canadian law to charge GST (based on the province you are located in). So depending on where you are this is tacked onto your membership.

It wasn't long ago that the CAD dollar was worth more than the USD and the membership was discounted, but this will fluctuate throughout the year depending on the current rates. Our membership is always in USD though, that will remain a constant and your credit card or Paypal will convert this into the current Canadian exchange.

Hope this clarifies for you here Ross. :)

Hi Ross, the internets centralized currency, is $US dollars, as is a lot of world trade, that currency conversion can be a pain point, especially if the dollar is trading at a premium to your state of origin.

As such the fees here in WA are charged in American dollars, which in most cases makes for a compelling proposition to make the commitment and go yearly, there is a real cost saving and value-add.

It can hurt when those funds are flowing out, but oh the joy when they return home, a definite upswing, sometimes 50% plus more value, real advantages in trading across borders and especially if you do it from the comfort of your own home or office.

Hey Ross,
I see the many have given you answer to your question.

Tried and True

Elaine

There are three factors in play here, Ross; currency conversion (USD to CAD), taxes, and conversion fees applied by your bank or financial institution.

Most of my income is in USD which goes directly into my PayPal account Most of my payments come straight out of the same account and there's no need for currency conversion until I transfer the funds into my Australian bank account.

lol...well I get hit too living in Australia!!..the AUD is not doing too good... they are charging in terms of US dollar because it is the default currency for internet and it is high at the moment...

Being told canadian funds by wa, but being charged american?

We all know they exist and can be used to generate fake or dummy user profiles to make your website or blog seem more active. Alongside the primary use of testing plugins and t

Interesting, but I don't understand how it can help you if it is fake content.

I believe they are used to create "test sites". I have several that I use for testing themes and page builders. The problem is I used a plugin to dump some of my live content into these fake sites, thus causing a content duplication. If you use a fake content generator then you will not have this problem.

Some folks prefer to make test sites on their local computer but then my security software goes nuts. Also I don't want to add a server working in the background. So for what $10.00 you can go to GoDaddy create a site "myfakesite.com" point it to your hosting account at WA or wherever. Then test new themes and plugins to your hearts delight without messing with your real site. Just don't use your real site's content else you google may see it as a clone.

First time hear this. What are they good for?

In Microsoft Word, I do the following:

Type =rand(1,2) for text in the style of help information. This is helpful if you want something that approximates English text.

Type =lorem(1,2) for text in classic lorem ipsum format. ...

Type =rand.old(1,2) for repeated versions of the quick brown fox pangram

I use a free online lorum ipsum generator. You can choose how many paragraphs you want.
https://www.lipsum.com/

No, I like to do all my content. It is more appealing to my audience.
Jerry

I don't use one in particular, just do a Google search and go with whatever pops up first.

I just realized that may not be that helpful. Lol.

I'm seeing a lot of good, paid for plugins emerging but not a lot of reviews so I'm hesitant. But you still raise a good point for some stumbling upon this as well.

I have since now opened my 3rd Shopify store and will be doing training on the versatility and ease but more or less just wondering if everyone else is having good experiences

I have a Tee Shirt/Apparel POD store on Shopify thatI use to promote a brick and mortar business I have. I'd love to pick your brain more on this if you wanted?

I only know a little about them. But sounds like you are doing well with it.
How do you keep up with more than one site? I hope I am able to do that when I grow up. : )

If I manage to get 1 person a day on each that's 16 more than I had the first :) I have no life, haha

I didnt have a clue when i got here, I was stressing more than anything about writing articles and SEO. Then I realized the power of this platform coupled with the fact that you can boost your site rankings just with FB pages and use them to funnel your traffic onto your website.

I tried boosting my facebook page. $50.00 in less than a month to do it and I got one referral. It was like $3 and $4 when someone would message me. To much for me. I'm trying to make money not waste it lol
I'm still learning and hopefully I'll really know how to use social media the right way.

I just generated my 1000th like on one page and haven't had to use a cent. Come find me on FB ill send you some likes, i boost my friends by sending out 5000 requests to like for them. They get about a few hundred back.

organic boosting

I couldn't find rwstretch on facebook.

stretch w rosco

I am officially a stalker (following you on Facebook, twitter and google) if I did it right anyway.

Good deal. I was leaning towards that direction a few months ago. But decided to slow down because I was literally doing too much at one time.

i have 2 shopify sites

I would continue to make them just as fast as I can brand :) I'm enjoying them heavily!

Do you drop ship ? Or use for something else?

I really don’t know much about Shopify yet.

Ill pass off what I put together in the next week :)

I think others have leveraged on that.

Had a really important question and it was kind of eating at me so I thought why not... 2 AM seems like prime WA Hour and Just looking for anyone who has had experience or who

I'd add one thing, if you are experienced SEO, you can look for another person who can do this job... and you will be able to evaluate the quality of his work... but if you have no experience, it might be better to do it yourself to get some proper skills

Thank you so much for stopping and writing :) I agree, I would like to see my skill in play to before I make a choice but regardless I can always outsource some-work and yes check it against my own. My SEO could use some refreshing hats for sure haha

Thank you again!

hey Ross, if you're busy then find the right person and outsource it! The more you outsource the more you can scale, or sit back and relax - whatever it is that motivates you to do this!
Put in some good systems so that you can easily monitor and see what is happening to make sure your clients still get great service and value though.
May take a bit of work to find the right VA but is very much worth it in the end.
as a minimum - outsource the stuff you don't like doing - I found that was a huge weight off and gave more time to do the things i like!
hope this helps
Ian

No that's a great response Ian, It was pretty much what I wanted to hear. I didn't want to feel like I was cutting corners or something. Maybe it's my conscience playing tricks on me at this stage. I'm always looking to obviously become better if not learn what I need to. But at this time yes relieving some of that weight would be Ideal. Thank you so much for taking the time to write my friend I really do appreciate it, it always helps to get some feedback.

You’re most welcome glad i could help
