Another WOW Moment! Wahoo!

Woke up this morning and checked my Shareasale account and saw that I had not 1, but 2 affiliate commissions! One was from a company from last week. Someone saw a review I had posted on Facebook and went to my website. The other happened last night while I was sleeping with a different company! I was pleasantly surprised. Actually, I think I sat staring at the screen for a few minutes just absorbing what I was seeing. It felt so surreal but wonderful at the same time. :)

There are days when I get frustrated but I know if I keep posting articles and reviews and keep up with social media postings that it will pay off, and it is slowly showing me that it has. This is my 4th sale since I joined in December and even though it's not much in commissions, it's a lesson to myself that hard work pays off.

I know that my website is starting to work for me and it does feel good when all of the countless hours of writing content starts working for you. I am also in the process of writing my first fiction novel and just created an author website for that. This process has given me the inspiration to follow my dreams and in order to do that, I have to step outside my comfort zone and be accountable to myself. Some days are challenging but the end result is, you get back what you put in to something.

For all the new people joining WA and reading this, it works! Not overnight, but it works!

Follow your dreams and never let anyone tell you that you can't. I finally realized that at this stage in my life and it feels really good! As Walt Disney said, "If you can dream it, you can do it." :)
