I used the google speed test and results indicated that I should leverage browser caching.

I can't remember which plugin Kyle recommends but I use WP Fastest Cache.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-fastest-cache/

Thanks Marion, I'll give it a try.

Last year I was considering to add a cache program but Kyle said we don't need it as there is one on the server?

Or is this something different?

I need to resolve this issue as well, just wondering why Kyle says not to use another cache plugin...

Shared hosting is always going to be slower than having a dedicated server or a virtual private server. I don't use WA hosting.

I also having the same issue, let see how they handle them.

Are you noticing that your site takes longer than 5 seconds to load? Or did you take the speed test just out of curiosity to see what your grade would be? If it's a loading issue, then this would be something you could look into, but if it's loading just fine at the speed most other sites load at, then there's nothing to worry about. Some suggestions are placed there that literally shave milliseconds off load time. It's easy to fall into the trap of trying to get a high grade for speed when there's really nothing wrong with the site.

I took the speed test and it suggested that I leverage my browser caching. Thanks.

Right, and what I'm saying is that unless you're noticing that your site takes an extremely long time to load, then you probably don't have to worry about any suggested improvements. I've seen some people get obsessed with their site speed grade and end up doing more damage to their site which was just fine in the first place in an effort to do something that's not even noticeable because it literally shaves only milliseconds off load time :)

Does it affect your google ranking in a negative way to put affiliate links in your sidebar?

not that I know of

Thank you Jerry, Have a great day.

Naw, it shouldn't affect your ranking. But don't overdo it. Google doesn't like too many links of any kind. Plus too many links will overwhelm your readers.

Great, good to know. Thanks and have a great day.

I don't think it will effect your google ranking. Don't go overboard with the links though. I use about 3 on one of my sites in the sidebar. On the other two websites I have 3 at the bottom in a footer. Sidebar widgets are good if they don't impinge on the margins of your pages or posts.

I only have 2, so that should work. Thanks and have a wonderful day.

Google ads are everywhere... why would they bother?

Good point. Thanks a million.

Is it just me, or is the free keyword tool missing under the "Tools" heading on the left side?

There are other options

It still van be found here: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/kw_research

But it was replaced by Jaaxy which is now free for premium members

They have removed it. You have to use the Jaaxy Lite tool from the big darkblue button underneath Affiliate Bootcamp.

Steven

Thanks everyone, Have a great day.

Thanks a million. Had ever a great day.

No, just acquire your UA-.................... CODE and go to Your All In One Seo Pack and scroll down till you see Google Anlytics ID!

Click Update/Save.

To check your site is being tracking simply open another browswer (keep analytics open) and interact on a few posts, scroll up and down and click on another - 10 seconds in all.

Go back to Analytics and you should see yourself show up.
