Creating a Storefront that acts as an online store
one thing to remember is how you are going to attract visitors....
if you have a store front how are visitors going to find it...
will google think this is more relevant than other authority stores...
what does your store have over others...
you will be working hard to get known, not impossible...
but if you go this route then it is worth choosing one style of clothing and sticking to it and get known for it ...
i know of someone who has a skull shop ( anything skulls) and has many pinterest boards and the shop is doing ok....
but very little ranked content or organic traffic and has to work hard promoting it on social....
once he stops this the traffic just about dries up....
Essentially you are writing more informational posts so that you do not sound so salesy to Google and if there’s a solution, a detailed analysis review post for your visitors to let them make an informed decision whether to go click your links and go purchase the focused item you proposed to solve their issue.
You may have an ecommerce store if you like however you can attach a blog onto it.
Update it with regular posts for organic traffic outreach which you may direct to your store or merchants stores. The choice is yours!
To have your WordPress have a shop you need the WooCommerce plugin which comes integrated with PayPal and Stripe payment gateways.

Creating a store front sounds exciting BUT who will find it and shop? There are hundreds of online stores and people will not find your store.
The best way to start is to create a niche website with helpful content: one that provides solutions to problems related to your niche.
