There are some media files I would like to use on another of my sites. Can they be moved from one site dashboard to another?

Yes, and kind of yes...haha...

The answer really depends on a few things, but you can definitely export and import your stuff...

First see here https://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress

Then take a look here http://www.wpexplorer.com/migrating-wordpress-website/

And here https://codex.wordpress.org/Tools_Export_Screen

This will give the basic understanding of the process and allow you to decide which way is best for you...

If you need more detailed info then please do ask...

Kind regards

Neil

Thank you, I will look into it. And I will difinitely ask if I need more help!

Bobby

Hi Robert, also worth considering going into the future, keep copies of all of your files...and as much content as you can...

Best wishes

Neil

I have all my media files saved on my iPad and I know I can upload what I need to my new site. I was just wanting to move what I have uploaded on my first site to the media library of my second site.

Hi Robert, you can deffo export/import...

Best wishes

Neil

Lots of us here rely heavily on our phones for the bulk of our work here at Wealthy Affiliate. An app that is geared toward smartphones would be beneficial

If creating the app makes the workflow more complicated for founders, I'd rather they focus on what the've already proof to be good at it. Keep up with the good work guys, Cheers.

I've tried the app in Android Playstore, it is basically an interface to link to wealthyaffiliate.com. But if we are creating content constantly I imagine it'll be better to invest in a cheap PC though.

I think for now, they are focusing on making the WA website/dashboard mobile-friendly rather than offering native mobile apps, which would be very costly to implement and maintain.

When I was using a phone with an android operating system there was one on the app store but it was not made or endorsed by Kyle as far as I know. I have not seen one on the Apple store.

I haven't heard of one just yet. There are rumors of one that is working; however, Kyle has said that it is not from himy and is a fake.

Are there plans for a wealthy affiliate app for smartphones?

I want reader input on the styles and types of BBQ pits they like to use and why. This could help the site take a new twist and possibly get more traffic to my website. Any tho

I'm guessing that you would need to have your own domain to be able to attach a forum to your site. I don't think it is possible with Siterubix, which has limitations on plugins and scripts.

I see you are a premium member. You might want to ask Site Support if it can be done with Siterubix.

Is the WP comment section not sufficient to ask for reader input? ~Jude

Thank you, I will check into it

Is it possible to post pictures in the comment section? I want readers and BBQ enthusiast to be able to share their unique BBQ pits on the site.

There are plugins, such as the Comment Image plugin. But they might not be supported by Site Hosting. You would need to ask them.

I tried 2 plugins on my domain Test site and could not get them to work.

As Mat has already said, you could consider creating your own Facebook Group, or a Community Group at Google Plus. The image upload features are already there. You can link your site to the Group.

~Jude

The easiest is use google groups, good for SEO also.

I haven't heard of google groups, but I will do some research. Thank you!
