Nano Advice To Fight Blogging Procrastination - A Brief Stoic Contemplation
On day 11 of January 2023, what should be on your mind? Do you do blogging, affiliate marketing, or trying other means to earn money online for yourself or for others?
If you do, you have to meet up every day for your business, no matter how bad the weather is, if your body is aching or if your mind is foggy and unfocused.
The skills you offer your audience is providing content of value and answering their questions and pain points; in other words, get good at writing, creating videos or talking (podcasts).
To follow up on Cassi's great post about nano learning and nano content creation, here is some nano learning inspired advice on mindset to tackle the last blocking step to get going.
Marcus Aurelius said:
" All you need are these: certainty of judgment in the present moment;
action for the common good in the present moment;
and an attitude of gratitude in the present moment for anything that comes your way" _ Marcus Aurelius, Meditations,9.6
What is the meaning of the quote, and how is this at all related to blogging and learning how to do it?
Develop and Nurture Three Personal Skills
We can break down Marcus Aurelius's quote into perception, action and will. These three skills are applicable to anything you are trying to achieve in life.
We are trying to create, with what we learn and with the tools available on WA, an online business that will sustain us in the not-too-distant future.
To rephrase, do the following when you find it difficult to decide on something:
control your perceptions, direct the action you take properly, and remember to accept the fact that there are things outside of your control. Be grateful for them and gently push them away.
Have a fantastic day!

Great post! 👍
It’s been a long time since I’ve studied the teachings of Marcus Aurelius, benefits of a classical education. 😎
