Falling Behind and Playing Catch Up

Last Update: January 11, 2021

Some days are better than others. Some days start well and end in a mess. Some days start like a mess and becomes the best day ever.

Yesterday started absolutely marvellous. I followed my daily routine, and got in30 minutes reading and 30 minutes of blogging before the clock struck 6AM in the morning. I attended 2 classes (outside of WA, had planned them since several weeks ago) before 10AM, and managed to get most of WA DMO away (email, comments, welcome to members).

The weather was exceptional with sun and not a cloud in sight, but kind of cold. Between 10 and 11 AM, I took our dog out and she enjoyed herself immensely outside in the snow.

The rest of the period afternoon was dedicated to cleaning the house and stow away all Christmas stuff. Going into the afternoon, things started to change, as one of our kids, well he is almost 22, woke up in a mood equal to thunder and lightning, which he took out on the rest of the family. He goes to the University, but has been staying with us for a little while, due to remote learning caused by the pandemic.

The bad mood and mindset were difficult to avoid, and It impacted the productivity for the rest of the day and evening for everyone. Early in the evening, he took off, going to a friend calling us names and yelling at us, without reason.

Later that evening, as he had come back to his senses, he made contact via text message, saying he was OK and that he was at his friend's house. So at least he made contact again and maybe started to see how he had behaved.

The effect and vibrations of other moods and mindset

We should leave all such experiences behind us as quickly as possible and don´t let them linger. Letting negative vibrations linger, will only do one thing and that is killing your productivity and day in general.

A method can be to visualise a ball of energy between your hands, formed by a "river fall" of energy flowing down on your head through your shoulders and out through your hands. Shape the ball between your hands. Take the energy ball and direct it to the negative enrgy in your body and feel it is letting go and riving all negativity away!

Todays Plan

I fell behind my schedule and 2021 plan, yesterday. Today I am playing catch up today with my plan for 2021.

Today will be catch up day for me. I will continue to write on two blog posts, one for medium and one for my website.

I will finish my social media plan, which will be put into action this week. Further, I will continue on my lead magnet funnel from last week, and I will attend two classes this evening.

That should be full schedule for the rest of the day :-D

Have a prosperous and tremendous week

Roy

Sounds like Tai Chi or Qigong with the energy ball. I always feel SO much better after a Qigong session. I need to do it more often. So many things affect our energy and vibrations. We need to recognize that and handle it before it goes out of control.

Hope your week gets better.

I have done some DaXuan and Tai Chi and the energy experience was impressive.

Yesterday evening was great and today has been marvellous from the start. Thank you for your kind sentiments, Debbi :-)

There are ups and downs in every family and everyone's life. Sometimes, as parents we have no choice than to tolerate and remaining patient. I know, you are though. It is just the way I think we (parents) in general have to be. Growing, our kids learn the same attitude and values we have. No doubt we are their first educator and mentor.

I am very glad you are feeling alright now and that you are back and focused towards your productivity. That's an excellent ability.

Have a prosperous week as well my friend,

Thank you for your thoughts about this stage in life, Meena :-). Sometimes enough is enough, and they need to get some well-meant feedback.

The concern about health is a reality, but the lockdown is not a concern for me because I am retired. The pressure is off in many ways.

These lockdowns are causing an increase in teen/young adult depression and suicides - something the media leaves out when harping "stay home, stay safe." Can you help your son by getting out a bit? That will help him and in turn help you.

Thank you for the advice, Jeannine 😊 He is out of the house and visiting friends regularly. He is also working at a health centre, so he is not stuck indoors. His challenge is that he gets stuck in front of his Playstation sometimes and doesn´t take breaks. That is what happened yesterday.

Ah, okay. Yeah, that can build up over time. It's designed to be quite addictive.

It certainly can. Fresh air and some physical activity can do wonders, as well as a change of locations.

Everything is back "in order" now. I came home from work today and dishes were done and the kitchen was tidied up. Thank you for stipping by, Thokozile :-)
