Working More With My Webmaster
I remember when I first started online and I had my first moneymaking website built in 2007, I used a professional website builder, things were very different then in terms of building your own website. I think overall this website cost me close on £20,000, partly because we kept adding different types of functionality to the website, which is my fault as I was changing things as I learnt new things. Unfortunately, the man who built the website had no knowledge of Internet marketing, but he did have good knowledge of building good websites, however, he wasn't helpful at all. We all live and learn and I learnt a terrific amount about Internet marketing, thankfully the website had many streams of income which helped to pay for the site!
In 2010 I wanted to start a new website, so I looked online and found someone who could help me with a WordPress installation, I had no idea who this person was, but they did have excellent reviews.
I was very pleasantly surprised how helpful this man was and how knowledgeable he is, it's very good to work with someone who is highly successful and knowledgeable, it makes such a difference. I remember that we actually put this website up on Christmas day and I believe we had a sale the day after!
Over 7 years has passed and I'm very grateful for the way my Webmaster has helped me along the way, it's a totally different experience from my first Webmaster experience, not only in cost, but in knowledge and being so very helpful! Although we have never met, he has became a very very good friend.
We are now working together more and we hope to be able to help other people, we are currently working on a SEO package for potential customers, this is real is SEO not the type where someone rings you up from India to tell you that they will get your website on page 1 on Google! We will probably add different packages and services as time goes on.
I feel very privileged to be working with my Webmaster and I'm very thankful for what he has helped me achieve over the past 7 1/2 years. I also appreciate being part of Wealthy Affiliate and the excellent training that it provides, it is a great help.

Thankfully, things have definitely changed Shelley, but at the time, I had enough to do putting up content and I didn't want to focus on building a website! It's amazing how things have changed in 11 years.

Sometimes the learning process can be very expensive. I also paid some "school fees'.
