Twitter Blue Checkmark
I have a couple of Twitter accounts that I use quite frequently. I wouldn't say that I'm a huge fan of social media, however, I do find Twitter much quicker and far less cumbersome than Facebook.
As most of us know, Twitter was purchased by Elon Musk a few months ago, I actually wrote a blog post about it couple of months ago. You can see the blog post below.

Recently Twitter Blue was released which is a paid for option. If you're just using Twitter for fun, I'm guessing that Twitter Blue will not be of much use. However, if you are using Twitter for business, then I believe that it can probably bring some benefits.
I thought I would sign up for a few months just to give it a try and see if it's worth it. I haven't been verified yet, apparently it can take up to one week. Apparently accounts have to be 90 days old before you can apply or subscribe to Twitter Blue.
From what I understand, Twitter Blue subscribers, will get priority ranking in search, mentions, and replies to help lower the visibility of scams, spam and bots. The ability to edit a tweet also sounds quite useful.
I believe that Twitter has been considerably improved over the last few months, since Elon Musk purchased the platform. I think all most people ask for is for is a platform where we can have an honest debate.
I also believe that because Twitter is considerably improved, it will also be much better for business.
I don't think that many members on Wealthy Affiliate use Twitter, however, I wondered if anyone on the platform has any experience of Twitter Blue.
Thank you for reading.

I must admit that I have never been a fan of Twitter. Both personally and for business. Most of my country has the same opinion about the popularity of Twitter.
But I used it when I published articles to get a good link, and I have done so regularly.
But after Musk bought it, I must admit that I sent the articles there with a bad test in my mouth. And I am seriously thinking about stopping it because even though we have a business, there is some principle too. At least, that is my opinion. So I haven´t decided what to do, but I am seriously considering stopping it.
Because, in my opinion, bad Twitter has developed, as expected, to a much worse place! People who were rightly banned because of fake news, scam, etc., are now again there.
And thinking about the important dignity of my sites, well, it is not a place I want to be in connection with.
Good morning this Johann,
Thank you for commenting, it's appreciated. I hope you're doing well.
I must admit, I have to disagree with you on that one. I know people who were banned, as it didn't suit the narrative; they have now been allowed back on Twitter. I don't mind what someone's political beliefs might be, I just want a platform that is open for discussion and debate.
President Trump was banned from Twitter and yet there were known terrorists on the platform. It shouldn't be a case of if we like or dislike someone, it should be done in a reasonable and fair way.
Even if you don't like the platform, I would continue to post your posts as it should help to boost them. Or at least I would like to think so.
Wishing you all the best.

Well, we have to be big disagree! :)
I got more trust on Twitter after the banned Trump!
To me, that was a sign that they were taking some responsibility. I don't really care what party they belong to. And I agree that terrorists and similar people should not be able to be there.
This is not about freedom of speech; we all want it! But freedom comes with responsibility. Therefore, it should be stopped when it is obvious that people are doing the wrong thing again and again. If people do it, then the same applies to everyone.
I've thought a lot about stopping posting links there because money isn't everything. Principe is more important normally!
My opinion of the owner of this medium is at freezing point, and the changes there have confirmed my concerns. That's why I think I'm supporting and linking my page to behavior that I don't think is okay.
But I totally respect your opinion.
Good morning Johann,
Thank you so much for your reply, it's appreciated. It's also good that we can disagree but still debate and that's how it should be. I appreciate that you respect my opinion and that goes both ways.
I'm very much with you on principles as we have to go with what we feel is right rather than the money. That is a very good principle to have!
I wish you a very happy weekend and for your business to prosper.

Hello Myra,
Thank you for taking the time to read and comment on my blog post, it's appreciated.
I thought I would give it a try; quite a few people I follow have taken up the idea. I will try and report back in a couple of month's time. I do like the fact that Twitter is quick to use and far less cumbersome than Facebook.
Have a great weekend.
Roy
Hi Roy,
I couldn't agree more with that last statement.
Have a great weekend yourself!
Myra
Good morning Myra,
Thank you for your input, I do appreciate it.
A very happy Saturday to you.
Roy
I saw how the process is not as cumbersome as it is in Facebook! I was contemplating on that earlier. Bu I was waiting for a WA to at least share their experience with Twitter before I jump into it!
Will be following up you Roy!
Have a triumphant Thursday!
Cheers,
Maria 🌹
It's much quicker, Maria, I just find Facebook a bit painful and very clunky! I can't remember how much training there is on Twitter, within Wealthy Affiliate, I guess there is some.
Wishing you a great weekend.

I know this is an old post but I wish to contribute, X is a great way to expose your blogs. With the use of #hastags, you can can reach a select section of accounts. You get impressions and traffic does increase when you post links to your blogs. I have good luck with it. I have learned it is easy to get an unindexed post indexed as you send traffic to it from X. Google sees the traffic and starts to find your post useful. Below is a weeks impressions with less than an hour on the platform for the week.
Good morning Michael,
Thank you for taking the time to comment on my blog post, it's appreciated.
I have always liked the simplicity of Twitter, Michael, it's far easier and quicker to use than many of the other social media platforms. I think now that Elon Musk owns Twitter, it will become huge. I believe he has great plans for the Twitter platform, we need to take advantage of this.
I'm glad that it's helping to boost your posts, that's good news.
Have a great day.
