Parler Or Twitter? Which One?
This is just a short post, regarding Parler or Twitter. Parler is very new to me, I've actually just created an account. According to Wikipedia, Parler was introduced in August 2018 and is supposed to be a social media network for unbiased free speech. Many people go to Parler if they have been banned from Twitter. For your interest I have not been banned from Twitter!
I am not a particular fan of social networks as they can be exceptionally time-consuming and a very easy way to waste a lot of time quickly!
However, I have been on Twitter for quite a few years now and I find Twitter a good way of promoting a brand. To me it is far less cumbersome and much quicker to use than Facebook's interface.
I literally created my Parlor account yesterday as I like the idea of free speech. This does not mean that I want to be offensive to anyone, I just like the idea of free speech. Too many tweets are censored and too many tweets are unliked or un-retweeted by the Twitter platform, I have experience of this.
It appears that the Parler platform seems to work very similar to Twitter, which is great news. I don't like the idea of learning another social network platform!
The thought of having a another social network does not excite me one bit. However, I do like the idea of free speech and to be able to express our views without being censored!

Hi Roy, just visited the Parler site: Parler allows users to connect with peers, read news, share content and discuss opinions. Digital publishers, influencers, writers, politicians and citizens interact as an online community.
I definitely would prefer the Twitter media sharing to parler. Just a humble opinion. I will not be using it. Looking at the plugin it has 50 installations and has not been updated in a year.

I hear what you're saying, Michael, especially as Twitter is so popular, I guess it's difficult for another platform to compete. However, I do like the idea of free speech.
For most of us, Twitter can work well for promoting a particular brand. If your brand is politics, Christianity or something similar, then Twitter will probably censor some of your tweets and remove followers. This is where Parler could gain many people.

Thank you for your question, I'm not actually using the Parler plugin, in fact, I haven't even checked out. I'm actually going to take a look.
Parler is very new to me Michael, I do like the idea of free speech, I believe it's wrong that Twitter removes likes and retweets and followers if it doesn't like the narrative.

I think you picked a winner Roy, everybody loves free speech, everybody's always looking for something new including me. I'm signed up for Twitter but never use it, no explanation, I'll give parlor a try, I have never advertised on social media I think it's about time I give it a shot, hmmmm, wonder if Sassy even has it in the listings it is so new, can you do a write in on Sassy.

I'm moving to Parler, like thousands of others - from Facebook. Parler is now the #1 downloaded app in the world. And Rumble is closing in on Youtube as the top video app used.
I've found a video to learn to use Parler, so I will learn more about how to market there. I know they have had some slow problems this past weekend because they have been overwhelmed with the thousands of new users, but they will fix that soon.

So what is PARLER? According to their website Parler is an unbiased social media platform focused on open dialog and user engagement. They allow free speech and do not censor ideas, political parties, or ideology .
If you are wondering How does Parler work it is very similar to twitter. It is basically a conservative twitter alternative app.
