In The Top 200 Again!
I received a message yesterday from Wealthy Affiliate to say that I am in the top 200 again!
I do find that my ranking fluctuates quite a bit, this is dependent on workload as I also have an off-line business as well as an online business, which keeps me busy. I thoroughly enjoy commenting and reading blog posts here at Wealthy Affiliate, however, time does not allow me to do this always.
It does amaze me how if I write a blog post how quickly my ranking can increase. For example I think I was floating around 280 and now my ranking has gone to 181 in just 24 hours. My guess is that it will increase again today.
It always amazes me how quickly we can increase our ranking. However, I'm aware that to be in the top 25 (I've been there) takes a terrific amount of work and dedication! Sometimes it's difficult to get the balance right. I know how important it is to keep writing content for our websites. Unfortunately, when we are spending time on Wealthy Affiliate, in the best possible way we are not writing content for our business, particularly.
It really takes very little effort to get into the top 100, however, although to rank much higher takes quite a bit of dedication.
It's definitely nice to rank high at Wealthy Affiliate, but I also think it's important that we do not focus on this. Our priority must be to grow our business.

Hi Roy, great news on the top 200.
Since lock down I've replaced tv time with wa community time. The result is that my rank is improving.
The other result is that I have replaced brain fodder with continual positive reinforcement.

I think Wealthy Affiliate is a great replacement for television! We didn't have a television for years, however, we purchased a new television just before Christmas. I can't believe how much rubbish is on there, in fact we tend to use it more for YouTube videos, although I've never been much of a fan of the TV! It's not even possible to watch the news because most of it is fake!
One thing is for sure Graham, you have made the right choice! I really believe it's important to fill our minds with wholesome things, I cannot stand watching mindless stuff!

I have to say I agree with you on WA rank not being our main focus, I am in and out of 200 regularly. Life goes on and while its great to be able to help people here and connect with our community there is only so much time to be able to do so.
