I'm in the top 200 again, surprisingly!
I've just received a top 200 badge, Wealthy Affiliate asked me if I would like to share with the community, so here it is!
I don't take a huge amount of notice of ranking, however, I was surprised to read a note on my profile saying that I had reached the top 200! I have been here before and I have also held ambassador status for a few weeks in the past.
I'm actually quite surprised that I have reached this level as I haven't been spending huge amounts of time on Wealthy Affiliate, partly due to my off-line business being busy, although I believe the business has now peaked as it is slightly seasonal.
This brought me to the question of how much time do people really spend on Wealthy Affiliate? I feel like I have spent minimal time here and yet I'm in the top 200! Out of interest how much time you spend on Wealthy Affiliate per day or week?
At the moment, I'm probably reading and replying to 3 blog posts a week and asking the odd question here and there.
I have to say that I find Wealthy Affiliate very addictive in a good way and I have to be careful to spend enough time on prioritising my own business needs first in the best possible way.
Anyway, I believe that the season has now come to focus more on my online business which I am really looking forward to.

The time I spend on WA fluctuates widely depending on how much I work on my business developing and promoting content. Consequently, my ranking fluctuates between below 50 to over 200.

At least an hour a day for me, replying to messages, welcoming new members, reading a couple of blogs and answering some questions.
Been hovering between 100 and 200 for a while but totally ok with that.

Hi Roy and well done for (inadvertently?) attaining the top 200.
I can relate to your thoughts on how much time is spent on WA blogs etc. For around 2 years when I first joined, I was reading/replying to 2-3 blogs more or less every day and i got to the mid-200's in the ranking. I now do less than 30% of that and I have been hovering around 350-400 since mid 2018.
Like you I don't see ranking as the holy grail; I am much more focused on checking/applying the training that emerges regularly from the forum.
A great place to be and hopefully will be for years to come

I think many of us get carried away with the ranking system here and is probably a good way for beginners to know quickly, however, we have to get that balance right!
I do find it amazing how little we have to do to stay at this level, I guess as more people join Wealthy Affiliate it will become more competitive.

Good question Roy,
I try and stay in the 200 and drift up and down. As I get to the top I do another blog and answer a few questions and its done.
I read a few posts from those I follow but total time is not over the top.

Good Morning Roy,
Before my breakfast, it is WA time. I clean my inbox of all the WA and private things I do not want. Then I read posts, replies to my comments, I try to squeeze in a comment on Site Comments but that is not always successful.
In the afternoon I am a little here and there but try to have a set hour for writing for my websites. In the evening I do Pinterest and FB with the evening film on TV in the background.
