Are You Leveraging In The Power Of LinkedIn?
LinkedIn is one of those social media networks that I have been part of for many years, the only thing is I probably haven't used LinkedIn to its full potential, in fact I know I haven't!
I have always liked the professionality of LinkedIn, I have always found it far more professional then many of the other social networks, especially Facebook. It seems to me that Facebook seems to get a terrific amount of attention and LinkedIn hardly gets mentioned, may be a slight exaggeration.
I've just started trying to leverage the power of LinkedIn, to me I believe LinkedIn and YouTube are possibly one of the most powerful tools that we can use to promote our website, I may be wrong? Do you have any thoughts on this please?
I do know a few people who have been highly successful using LinkedIn, particularly one man who turned his life around and became a massive LinkedIn influencer, once again is amazing what can be achieved on the Internet!
Have you found LinkedIn useful, have you had good results?

I'm a member of LinkedIn... I plan to put my articles there soon.
I don't know anything about how to post the articles or rules yet but I certainly think it's worth well pursuing especially if your site is on helping people make money.
Yes... there are lots of professional people there and many of them work for large corporations or contract themselves out working for other people. I really think a lot of them would love to look at a different way of living their dream lifestyle.

Hi Roy. Although we have an old LinkedIn account we have never used it. Now that we are here at WA we do plan to investigate our options there but not until after we have conquered TouTube and Pinterest. It's on the list!

It's worth taking a look at Steve's training as Dehj pointed out, Dean is a very powerful tool when used properly, I believe that many of us, including myself are not using LinkedIn to its full potential.

Honestly I have no idea how to promote wealthy affiliate on linkin but I know it’s a good place to network. I am currently working on YouTube and recording my progress in Wealthy Affiliate there. It takes a while to build on YouTube but it’s constant traffic if you get established

Linkedin, I have been with since the start, its a business social network, where people expect to do business and get recommendations
Its is way better than facebook, through its professionaism for sure
I have had and continue to get good results and make sales there
To give a couple of examples:
When I had a brief foray into MLM, I built my team using it ( that venture still pays me every month)
I have sold numerous marketing products to my contacts there including a one off $465 commission one
The trcik with Linkedin is this, your profile needs to be properly optimised and then you will get people finding you and wanting to join your network
Its a very vibrant community, just like here and YouTube

I think LinkedIn is good for promoting something like Wealthy Affiliate or anything else in the online business niche but I don’t think it is the place to promote my shih tzu blog. Something like that is more suited to Facebook and Pinterest, I’m finding.

I once attracted a writing client from LinkedIn because he was looking for an SEO content writer. It can be useful for gaining clients who are savvy enough to search for the right skills on the platform.
Beyond that I'm not sure how useful it is for affiliate marketing. LinkedIn seems to be a platform that users visit for a specific purpose but they don't linger to look at ads and special offers etc.
Instagram, Pinterest and FB are probably more suited to affiliate marketing because people tend to hang out on them and click more links. This is not based on any actual studies, just my humble theory. :-)

It is interesting how different platforms work for different people, there are some platforms that we are more comfortable with, for example I prefer Twitter through Facebook.
