Are You Consistent?

Are you consistent? I believe that this is a question that we need to ask ourselves.
I believe that the most successful people are people who are consistent, I have some successful Internet marketers that I have followed for a number of years and something that I see in their lives is consistency!

I believe that we need to be doing something every day, or at least five days a week. It is also good to have a plan of action and goals for each week month or even every day! By creating a list and writing down your goals for a given period, we can check these things on our list and it really feels like we have achieved something.

A few suggestions:

Create a job list for each day.

Make realistic goals.

Make a time limit for your goals.

Set a timer.

And of course, spend some time on Wealthy Affiliate networking and learning.

At the end of the day ticking off your achievements can be very satisfying in itself!

I find that sometimes if I'm writing a blog post and I know that only have a certain time to complete this in, I can get the blog post completed much quicker. As I write this blog post now, I have to be off somewhere in a few minutes, so I know it has to be completed quickly.

Thank you for reading and please leave your thoughts and comments below.

Thanks, Roy. I agree with you, you can’t hit-and-miss your way to success in your online business. I know that I could be more consistent in my business. Right now I’m fighting through a lull in my creativity. Everyone has them occasionally, at least I hope that I’m not the only one to have that happen. :-)
Grant

I hear you, Grant! For some reason, many people seem to think that if you work for yourself, you can do whatever you want, but we know that is not the case! I believe the hard work and consistency pay off. I think it's good sometimes to have accountability partners to Grant, I believe this increases our work output.

Enjoy your day.

Right

Consistency has been the single biggest struggle I've had here at WA.I have created a daily task list, but my issue is not looking back on it to see what needs to be done daily. I do know though that if I don't get into a consistent habit, then I won't be successful here and my crippling debt will win. I want to succeed so I need to change my mindset.

Hello Brian, I appreciate you taking the time to comment and did you know that you can beat your crippling debt? Don't let this stronghold take over! Be consistent, learn something every day and take action and be an overcomer and don't focus on the problem!

Enjoy your day and I'm here to help you.

Roy

I really want to get out of this massive hole of debt that I got myself in as it's getting harder and harder to make even minimum payments. Yet, just as you say, I am doing things to learn and take action more often to try and reduce this debt. One thing I've noticed is that my content is now getting indexed in Google at a faster rate. I posted a new article on my website lastnight and when I woke up this morning and checked my email, I got one that said my content had been indexed. Now I want to keep that momentum going and keep adding more content.

That's great news Brian that your website is getting indexed quickly and I believe that all things are possible, we need to be overcomers! Maybe in the future, you will be able to write a book about your experience of getting out of debt or something similar! I would look at every single option you have and seeking the right help, regarding your debt. In the UK, help is available, the laws may be different in the US, but I would definitely find out.

Enjoy your day.

Roy

You know that sounds like a good idea for a future ebook! I never really thought of that, but would definitely make sense especially for my second website. I agree with you, I need to look at all my options and see what kind of help I can get here.

Hi Roy

I enjoyed reading your post. I agree with you, I am far more likely to get something done when I give myself a time limit. In fact I usually have a timer ticking away when I do most things. It's amazing how much of a psychological help that is.

~Mark :)

Thank you for taking the time to comment Mark, it is interesting that you say that you often use a timer, my wife actually suggested that I did this and it does seem to work! And as you say, it really does help, it kind of puts the pressure on, in a good way!

Enjoy your day.

Roy

Yes I guess my timer is a substitute for a 'boss'. Think I prefer the timer. :) Thanks Roy. Enjoy your weekend.

Mark

I hear you Mark, big-time! The timer is much better than a boss!

Enjoy your day.

Hi Roy,
Am I consistent?
Your blog struck me on my forehead as I am not consistent right now and neither have a plan of action. Another punch and I know the importance and result of having a plan of action and being consistent do have on our success.
Thank you for your blog it has strong fundamental elements needed to succeed.
Marcus

Thank you for taking time to comment Marcus. It's always good to have a plan I believe, however, sometimes with so much going on and so much to do, it's almost a job to know how to start your plan! But it is a definite must!

Enjoy your day.

Roy

Thanks Roy for your comments.

Good to read Roy and I do like you say about goals. I start the day charting out tasks to accomplish and try to get to them all during the day. I keep it even and keep my eye on the current situation and the future also so it seems to be moving along alright. Those long term goals and timing them is hard. Good luck,

tom

Hello Tom, thank you for taking the time to comment, it sounds like your day is fairly organised, which is great and that your plan is coming together. Keep up the good work and kindest regards.

Roy

Great post and I agree with you on setting goals but if you put a time limit on it and you don't manage that goal you are going to be disappointed and then be discouraged. Oh, don't think we should put a time limit on ourselves. That, of course, is my opinion only.

Hi Roy,

Am I consistent? And to answer that honestly.. no I am not. But this is a good reminder. Thanks a lot. I need to really incorporate it in my life because in the past I've applied it and proven that it really works. It has been and always will be anyway.

Have a nice day.

Kind regards,
Arline :)

I believe, consistency is so far my biggest issue.
Still need to learn how to be consistent.

One important thing for me is, that I have to focus on one thing and one thing only.
I am gonna need to get rid of the distractions, ignore them..

Somehow I have developed a strange kind of thinking, that I have to know about everything what is going on around me. And that is wrong attitude.

So Thank you Roy for your post... hopefully I am bit closer to consistency.

Cheers
Mike

Great post Roy, with some great advice in it. Consistency is just 1 of the 3 Cs needed for success, the other 2 being coachable and committed, all 3 are entwined with each other and lead to ULTIMATE success

Like you I have followed 2 major players for years and all they have done is copy the top player in their respective niche

Enjoyed reading this

Very much so, my goal is to make my niche sites places where people want to be. I am working hard at it, maybe not as fast as others. Ran into a few frustrations, managed to work through them. Ultimately i am doing a great job in my eyes, now i am not sure what to blog on never done it. I am open to suggestions there. Thank you for that insight.
