Another Way To Monetise Your Website
I have been inspired to write this blog post after reading Erin's blog post titled, "Launching Your Site And Blasting Off" you can read the blog post below.

I'm just in the process of relaunching an old website that I haven't added any content to for a couple of years and I felt it was about time that I resurrected this old website. I actually logged into one of my affiliate accounts the other day and discovered that in just one week the site had earned three figures, which was good news considering that is just sitting there almost doing nothing.
Selling advertising
I have decided to start adding a lot more content to build up the traffic etc and then once traffic builds up, I will invite people or companies who are in a similar niche to advertise my website. I have tried this method before and it has been successful, so I am confident that I can do it again.
One of the many ways to monetise a website!

Thanks for this post Roy. It's good to learn you are relaunching an old website, and will be selling advertising. I have a website that sits doing absolutely nothing, but finding the time to work on it is not easy.

Thank you Valerie for taking the time to comment. I believe that there are several of us here who have several websites and some of the sites just get left behind due to a lack of time et cetera. If your old website is receiving traffic, then it may be worth resurrecting it, but at the same time I do appreciate that time can be an issue.
Erin writes some very good blog posts, there are many great writers here at Wealthy Affiliate, I know that I miss some great blog posts at times, but we can't read them all!
