Progress Report - My First Quarter at WA

Hello Everyone here at WA,

Hope all is well with you my dear WA family and Happy New Year!

This is to give you some updates about my progress. How time flies, I'm already entering my 5th month. At any rate I'm really really thankful to have joined this wonderful WA community.

1. My Progress

Currently, I'm at Level 4 (Lesson 7) of the Online Entrepreneur Certification. I've just published my latest article that took me two long weeks to complete.

One of my New Year's resolution is to commit and be consistent to two articles per week but it turned out to be one article per two weeks (sad face). Sometimes life gets in the way and can't really focus.

Anyways, holding on with one small step is still better than giving up.

2. My Website

One thing that attracted me to join WA is the idea that I could have my own website. Currently, I have one website that I can say I'm proud to have built. It's a passion niche website.

Presently I have 29 posts and 5 pages published. One post garnered one comment- amazing isn't it? (smirk). Although unrank in Google I'm not really concerned at this point. I can wait until my website matures as well as create more balanced articles.

Anyhow, most of my articles are ranked on first page of Bing and Yahoo. This is maybe where I'm getting that 18% organic traffic. While the bigger chunk of my traffic are coming from my social media (Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram).

3. What I've Learned so Far

I knew from the start that this journey won't be a walk in the park. I've been living alone and far from my family working oversea not to understand what it takes to be successful.

Joining WA further solidifies my belief that it really takes hardwork and dedication to get what you want. And it's here also that I started to develop the "Don't Quit" mentality.

I've devoted myself and followed the step-by-step trainings even though some turtorials are old but instead of complaining I find ways as there are other new trainings that can really answer our questions, just need some resourcefulness.

4. What Are My Questions?

I've already got proof that this platform really works. But whether or not I could acheive my set goals remains to be seen.

Maybe one question I can think of right now is this, if my website doesn't convert after one year what are my options - bootcamp?

5. Any Success so Far?

I started here at WA with zero knowledge about affiliate marketing, content creation and building a website to name a few.

But after four months of being a premium member I'm beginning to believe more on my writing ability and felt more comfortable with content creation though still slow at it.

Thanks to WA University for the chance to learn new things (special mention to @Jeff Brown for the nice WA banner, thanks Jeff).

Moreover, my website has now started earning small amount through google adsense.

6. Plans and Goals for 3 months

My main goal for the next three months is to have 3 qualifying sales as Amazon Associate. This is one goal that I need to pursue as most of my promoted products are all in Amazon.

7. Plans and Goals for 6 months

I'm planning to build my second website. Actually, I have already bought my new domain here at WA also. I've just delayed the construction to focus first on one website as it is what being admonished here by Kyle as well as by the senior members to just focus with one and learn first.

It is a knowledge niche (as per Jay's live class training about niche). So I'm giving myself a chance to work on a passion niche as well as knowledge niche. Hoping both will be successful.

So that's all from me my WA family. This is where I'm at right now and where I am heading in the next 6 months.
