Gee, Is This Part of Our Training?
Recently, there's a lot of buzz on comments from Site Comment...
A streak of hilarious to outrageous ones being submitted for approval...
Well, today I got my share...
My article is about Robotics and AI...
The comment... about LEUKEMIA!!!
"This is a very great information you have here on you article. I have been able to learn a lot about leukemia from reading this article and to be honest I am very thrilled to have acquired such knowledge from your write up. Thanks for this very great and educating article...."
Of course I immediately disapproved it for obvious reason.
But I couldn't help but wonder why...
These commenters don't seem to know and follow the criteria of the comments we need for our sites.
Don't they know why do we need comments in the first place?
Or why are they in Site Comment anyway?
Isn't it for receiving comments too???
They seem to not read the WA community blogs too, else they could have learned it's not ok to do so.
It's utterly rude and disrepectful to give generic comments... much more irrelevant... totally nonsense ones.
Is this part of our training???
Well, maybe we should take this as part of our training....
Training on how to handle such comments... while maintaining positivity... Because there are more annoying and frustrating trolls outside WA!
Anyway, inside WA we only have a few of these "uncaring" selfish commenters..
A big number of us cares and truly hopes we could all be successful in this business.
Out of 10 commenters... 9 gave me valuable ones!

I think they are just trying to comment as soon as possible to get credits, or cash credit. I wonder if they even read the article... This can cause a high bounce rate, which is bad...
I don't think they even read blog posts here at WA, otherwise, as you said, they will be aware of their mistakes... They're just so busy giving shitty comments.

I'm just wondering whether they're here for business or just to trouble and annoy us who are trying to work it out.
If they're paying WA members... Well, they're wasting their time and money. They will be banned from Site Comment and will not get support from the community.
It's their loss not ours.~^

Leukemia... sounds like the writer was being sloppy, cutting and pasting from another thing he or she had done.
His comment template is not that bad....
He should just double check if he got the right subject before submitting it. 😅

9 out of 10 is a great score. Though I can understand your frustrations with the comment you posted. I agree it is disrespectful to post an erroneous comment. It shows a lack of respect for you and the platform.
Hi Alex! I agree with you... I'm grateful to have that number of decent comments... I feel sorry for the other members who were not as lucky.
Hope these commenters would come to their senses and give appropriate comments.

It's a serious problem I think... though we can reject them and get replacements... Some says it's affecting our bounce rate negatively which is I think more frustrating than the comments themselves. 😔
