Could Rumble Be A Better Alternative To YouTube In Terms Of Monetization?

Hi there friends, today I would like us to talk about Rumble. Could Rumble be a better alternative to YouTube? I came across Rumble on TikTok. Someone mentioned, and of course, it was in the exaggerated style, that has become very popular on TikTok.

The person was talking about thousands of dollars that you can make with your video on Rumble, so I decided to check it out just out of curiosity. Well, although there is a chance that your video could be so great that a company might be interested in purchasing the video from you via Rumble, the chances of that happening are not very high.

Video Monetization On Rumble Is Simple And Easy

I mean people have become videographers with their mobile devices and these days it's very easy to find all kinds of videos on the internet for free, especially on stock media sites.

The only thing that makes me think Rumble could be an alternative to YouTube, is that as long as your video is good, you don't need subscribers, Rumble will market your video, and it will be monetized and it will generate a few dollars here and there.

Because Rumble does not have many users like, lets say YouTube, the videos don't really make a huge amount of money.

I only have 3 subscribers on Rumble and yet my videos were approved for monetization, I must say I have not made anything with the videos yet, but there are just videos I created on Canva, with images, effects, and music.

But How Does Rumble Work?

After creating an account on Rumble, you then need to create a channel, and you can create more than one channel if you want to. For example, you can create one channel for funny videos, and another channel for yoga videos, but both channels are under one account.

Then when you upload a video, you must choose which channel you want to share the video on. Then you are of course going to give your video a catchy title, and description, you are going to add tags and choose a thumbnail.

After that, you must select which license you want to use. The first license, gives total control of your video to Rumble, meaning if you have uploaded the same video to YouTube, the money it makes on YouTube, you are going to share with Rumble.

The next license excludes YouTube, but Ruble still has the rights on other platforms. The third license is the same as YouTube, meaning you still own all the rights and control of your video.

The last license is the personal use license where the video can not be monetized and is not searchable, plus only you and your subscribers can access the video.

I Think Rumble Could Be A Greate Place For People Who Like Creating Videos

Animal videos, and funny baby videos, seem to perform quite well on Rumble. I also think landscape drone videos are OK. When you choose the first license where you sort of give the video to rumble, your video will be sent to a place where it will be analyzed and they will determine if your video has virality potential.

Then they will send you an email to ask you to confirm that you want your video to move to the next stage where it will be marketed and if someone makes an offer to purchase the video, you will be OK with that if you don't click the confirmation link within 30 days, Then your video will not move to the next stage. That is because not clicking the link, means you don't want to move forward.

Conclusion

Getting monetized on YouTube is not easy, and even once you get monetized, YouTube has a habit of constantly demonetizing people's videos, so it has become a struggle for Youtubers to make stable income with their content especially those who focus on controversial topics.

Of course, you can monetize your videos with affiliate links even before you reach the 1000 subscribers and the 4k hours watch time that YouTube requires for monetization, But I think it's wise to look for other alternatives, and that is where Rumble and other platforms like Twitch come in handy.

Anyway, I would like to hear your views on this, are you familiar with Rumble? If so do you think it could be a better alternative to YouTube? Please leave your comments below.

Thank you for your time.

Rose.

Not yet

This is some great info, Rose! I am a Rumble member, but have not tried uploading a video there yet!

Jeff

Ah, OK, you should try uploading, it's not as active as YouTube but I think with time, it will get more users.

I might just do that, Rose!
