A Negative Wealthy Affiliate Review, Do You Have All The Facts?

OK, I am not sure if this is a rant but we shall see. I recently came across a negative Wealthy Affiliate review, I was just minding my own business on these online streets, but I could not resist reading the review because the date shown on the review was April 2021.

My main focus was to see if it will state facts and include the updates that Wealthy Affiliate has introduced in recent months, or it will just be another trashathon of this wonderful community. I have seen many other negative Wealthy affiliate reviews but this particular one was special, it seemed to be written by some big person in the digital marketing world.

They Said Wealthy Affiliate Members Are Not Making Money

You know what, I was always skeptical about income reports. On one hand, I loved reading income reports to see how members are progressing, and on the other hand, I felt like does it really matter what you are making on your business? I mean given the fact that everyone's income and progress will be different depending on their efforts, and the products they are promoting on their websites.

But now I can see that income reports do help give a picture of how the platform is progressing and how much success people are having thanks to Wealthy Affiliate.

Lets Talk About Updates That Wealthy Affiliate Has Made Lately

One of the main complaints that people had about Wealthy Affiliate, was that the training is not organized, lets take a look at that now shall we? If You click this link, it will take you to the training headquarter, where you will see all the tutorials, courses, and all the learning material that this platform has. All in one place, what other organization can there be?

When you click training, at the top of your screen, then click training HQ there you have everything on one page and you just need to scroll until you find what course you want to take.

I mean the page is very well organized and categorized, you can even choose from the most recent courses.

Then lets talk about the training itself. I think it's not fair to say that the training here at WA is outdated and that it doesn't work. I have tried other courses and I can attest to the fact that the teaching method here at Wealthy Affiliate is the most effective method of teaching people affiliate marketing.

Also, training is been updated constantly so what kind of update are critics looking for? I mean there are some gurus who are still selling expensive courses that were created many years ago. Here there are fresh courses being added daily. I think even if the Wealthy Affiliate coaches were to stop creating new training material, it'd still take years for one to go through all the training already published.

Why Are Wealthy Affiliate Coaches Not Showing Off Their Wealth?

When I first joined Wealthy Affiliate, there was one thing that made me think, this program is special. There were no flashy cars popping up when I was trying to learn, there was no showing off of any kind and I liked that.

To be honest if when I signed up for this program I were to be bombarded with popups of expensive cars, yachts, and all kinds of flashy stuff, I would have left. Every program has its way of doing business, and I totally like how business is run here at Wealthy Affiliate.

Even the people who share income reports, they don't share in a show-off kinda way, they share from a point of encouraging fellow member and again, I like that.

In my country, we have a saying, that goes something like this " where the river is most quiet, that's where it's the deepest" Those who are shouting and screaming about their wealth... Well, I will let you finish the sentence for me.

The Wealthy Affiliate Community What Is It Exactly?

The community here at Wealthy Affiliate, and the giving back attitude, are what sets this program apart from all the rest. There is still a misunderstanding when it comes to the Wealthy Affiliate community.

People who are not a part of this program will never fully understand how things work around here. The community is not a cult, and Wealthy Affiliate is not a pyramid scheme or an MLM program. I have said this before and I will repeat it again, when I first joined this program, I did not go for the make money online niche.

That means I was not promoting Wealthy Affiliate at all, I took my affiliate marketing course, built a website, and started promoting beauty and skincare products, from Amazon, Sephora, and other skincare brands.

So how can it be a pyramid scheme if I was not even promoting it? I was working with brands that had nothing to do with Wealthy Affiliate or making money online, so how could I build a pyramid? how could I refer people to Wealthy affiliate if I was not even talking about Wealthy Affiliate?

It wasn't until I decided this program is the real deal and I need to make some noise about it, that I entered into the MMO niche.

Conclusion

It's OK, to write a negative review, but you must state the facts. I recently wrote a negative review, and I got some comments from people who were not very happy, But I had stated facts that led to the company implementing some of the suggestions that I made, for example updating their home and their FAQ pages that previously had misleading information.

When they did it, I went and took some screenshots and updated the review. I think, when updating the date of the post, it's also wise to check if there is an improvement to the things you were not happy with about the company and include that information.

Anyway, those are just my views.

Thank you for your time.

Rose.

Well said, Rose! I came across a negative WA review the other day that stated many of the things you've pointed out. It spurred me to also want to write my own post about it. There is always something new to learn here, this is an awesome community, and the platform itself is amazing.

exactly, there is always something new to learn and the courses are not just for beginners, we have advanced courses especially in the Premium Plus membership.
I think being a part of this community gives anyone the best chance to succeed in affiliate marketing period. It doesn't matter whether you are just starting out, or you have some experience in affiliate marketing, you will have the best opportunity to set up a successful affiliate marketing business here at Wealthy Affiliate.

Spot on Rose, Some thrive on publishing negativity, but each to his own. With well over 2 million members on this platform that in itself shows - say no more. I am very happy with our training here, how well laid out it is, the content and tools given to succeed in business and the fact that there is no hype about it all. There is NO other like it. Best wishes.

Absolutely! I don't think you can find a better training program, than Wealthy Affiliate, because it's not just about the initial training but the fresh tutorials and courses that are being added on a daily basis.

I have also come across negative reviews of Wealthy Affiliate where they call the community " a cult that is blindly following Kyle and Carson" and that not everybody is making money. True, not everyone is making the big bucks (yet), but building your business takes time. We get all the training and support we need, but it is up to us to work on our business.
All negative reviews come from people who joined and then gave up, or like Linda mentioned below: to get people to use "their own system".

Very true indeed. There is not a training system that's gonna make the money for you, you get the training, and the tools needed to build your online business, but the rest is really up to you.

I think that sometimes these people write bad reviews to get people to use their own "system" Rose. Doesn't say much for their program if they have to put down other people to get anyone to sign up.
Our people don't need to show off the trappings of their great lifestyles because they actually live it, rather than rent it to make a video.
I saw one website, late 2019 that had said WA is a scam and had loads of comments saying it was and why. That struck me as many people who were too lazy to do the work so didn't make money and others that got kicked out for breaking the rules too often.
That's my opinion.
When it comes to WA, we get the tools and training but the time and effort is down to us. You get out what you put in, just like with anything in life.

Hi Linda, you have made very good points. yes, I think because some people join Wealthy affiliate thinking they will start making money online straight away when they don't, they get angry with the program and call it a scam.
I think we also as affiliates of Wealthy Affiliate, have to make it clear when we are promoting it, that it's not a get rich quick program, and if you are desperate for money, maybe find other ways to make money quick because chances are you are not going to make money so quickly just by joining WA.

Yes, we have a responsibility to be totally honest with people wanting to join.

Hi, Rose.
Thank you for an excellent, honest post.
I’ll be reading through more of your missives.
:-)
