Do You Get Brain Freeze?

Do you ever get to the point where you just don't know what to write about on your blog? I was sailing along nicely, and life just sort of intruded and now I sit down and don't really know what I want to talk about.

I get a great idea, start to write notes down then just seem to loose interest.

It is so frustrating. What to you do to overcome issues like this?

Hello Rose Ann. Yes I get writer's block all the time. I had it and it took me 3 days each to write my About Me page and my first post. It's quite common so don't worry.

Danny

Sometimes when drawing that blank I will write a line or two about something good, sweet or interesting that happened to me or that I observed that day. Somehow draw it in to what I'm writing about that day. How it motivated me or gave me positive energy. Then it flows. Positive emotion unlocks creativity.

thanks wll try this.

When I get there, it's often that I've tired my little brain
too much, so I take a long break and it's start again.

Take care of you.
Ingrid

It happens occasionally to me but got FIRED UP again soon after that by my "WHY" for being in this platform BECAUSE I have determined never to let my "HOW" to stop me going on until my goal is achieved! Cheers!

In these moments I usually go for a long walk and/or meditate.

All the best!

Bob

I did get it but then started writing about the stuff I built the blog for and since then it's been better

If it helps write down all the things that interest you and from that list cross reference with your tracking stats and that should be where you gravitate towards

Then you should not get as much brain freeze

Do something physical, like a brisk walk or a bike ride.

You often find the ideas start to flow while you're walking or riding and you're good to go when you get back.

I can relate to this. I've just had a break for 2 months and need to get back into it but don't know where to start!

Hi Roseann,
I think that happens to all of us at one time or another.

Sometimes you just need to take a step back and let your mind relax.

Then come back and start again. That seems to work for me:)
Donna

have done that for two weeks, now worrying about slipping through the cracks.

Hang in there and you will bounce back!

Happy Valentine's Day!

After a while yes that’s when you get up walk away do something anything else for about an hour then go back it should hep.
