Why I'm Starting My Days Doing Yard Work
During colder weather I delve right in to the work on my laptop but lately I've been heading outside while it's cool and not too windy. I trimmed some of the branches off our mulberry tree before the mulberries mature and fall onto the patio where our dogs gobble them up. I'm also raking up the leaves in a section of the yard so I can move a little round table over there. Small projects, one after another. I can easily imagine dozens of such projects in our quarter-acre yard.
What does this have to with "real" work? Exercise, fresh air, and a nice transition from sleep! When I do get back inside, I have more energy. And hey, I've started the day with an achievement. That sets a nice tone.
How do you start things out?

Out doors in the morning, hot coffee, birds-a-singing their morning song, and all during a beautiful sun rise. What more could you ask for?

Hi Rosana. Now that spring is here I am doing the same thing when I can. I get out and do what I call yard therapy; it is good for the spirit and if anything is frustrating to me after I work a while I forget all about it.
Have a blessed week.

That’s an awesome start to a day!
Since you asked, I usually start with work on my website. Usually between the hours of 5:00 to 6:30 am.
Then it’s off to work (my hourly job) unfortunately to give them 8 hours of my time. 😔
Have a great day and I wish you the best!
