Most People Don't Keep Their Resolutions, But What About Us?
I was just reading some statistics about people not even trying to keep their new year's resolutions. You may have seen these sorts of figures, and since the blog I just read gave no sources, I'm not going to tell you what exact percentages she said . They were dismal.
I had an immediate "yes, but..." reaction to her article.It didn't take me long to realize that I have a secret weapon, the same one you have.

Sometimes I get a little bored with all the encouraging posts here, but right now I'm appreciating that so many people here write them. If I don't need one today, I sure might another day.
And what I do like here, any day, is the sense of community.
Knowing we have friends here makes it more likely we will keep on keeping on. I mean, I'm always wondering what outrageous stuff Twack is doing or how Fran Kelso or Swangirl are getting along up there in chilly Alaska or what the most sassy ones are going to come up with next...
So knowing what a good chance I have of completing things, I guess I'd better get my 2020 list up on my bulletin board in front of my desk. Umm, can't do that till I finish writing it.
Okay, I will MAKE THINGS HAPPEN.

I never know what's going to happen from one day to the next. It's always a surprise.
Being surrounded by like-minded individuals who are all striving for the same things while still having the time to help, is quite a reassuring factor when it comes to 'keeping going'
