Computer Barely Working Right When My Tech Guy Left for Chicago

A couple of days ago, I noticed on my iPad when I was messing around on Facebook that my local computer guy, who is quite a genius, was going to visit family in Chicago for two or three weeks.
The next time I went on my laptop, Google wouldn't forward any of my Gmail emails anywhere, not here, not to my sister, nothing.
Aargh!
Well, I can do some on my eight-year-old iPad, and hey, I did get here just now on my laptop. But if you don't see me around much for a while, that will be why.

Sorry to hear that you're without your tech guy. You feel stuck with no help in sight, although he certainly deserves to spend time with his family. When I bought my Toshiba laptop I signed on for their service contract. The good thing about that is I'm never without help. Your post made me think about what I would do without any support available. Probably pulling my hair out!!
