Can I bring an entire blog over from bluehost or other hosting? Do I need the site files? Or is there a way to transfer?

Featured Comment

It is quite a manual process to move a website to WA, but it can definitely be done if it is a Wordpress based site.

You would have to follow these steps:

(1) Download your content locally
(2) Update your domain DNS settings to point to WA. Here are the DNS settings.

ns1.mywahosting.com
ns2.mywahosting.com

(3) Build a website here at WA using the website builder.
(4) Transfer your content over to WA

This is a very manual process and it can be done, but I don't recommend doing it if you have an established high ranking website, I don't usually recommend moving it.

If you need any further help, let me know.

hey hi Alex!

Good question and all questions are good ones!

If your existing site is in WordPress, then, yes, it makes all possible ....

Here's a post to help you with the move and you'll likely need to involve Site Support when you're ready ... :)

I’m trying to ad amazon affiliate links with photos... but don’t see where I can edit code on my posts. Can someone clue me in? Adding links to text is easy but I&r

Both Vicki and Ray, give good answers.

There are two functions when working on a post. One is visual and one is text. Code goes in the text option. Don’t forget to update your page once you install some code.

Hey thank you both! Very helpful I am adding it now!

Add code on your text tab on your site dashboard.

Hello,
I would love to be able to get feedback on my site so far, however when I try to offer feedback no websites have been available today. What can I do to move forward?<

Mel's suggestion is a good one. You can also buy credits to use...

Try this.
