OK, Do I Qualify As An Author Now?
Hi WA Fam, I have been quiet for a while but I've been quite busy behind the scenes. So there is this little story that I have been working on. I intend to publish it as an eBook. It's my own personal experience, and a painful one I might add.
I had considered posting it as a blog post on a SitRubix site but I decided against it because its not a subject that I really want to keep revisiting.
And I know I might get comments and questions that I would have to answer which means revisiting. Anyway, I am not sure if I will still publish it as a blog post but for now, the little book is ready.
Not sure if I should even be referring to it as a book, its just over 5k words, does that even qualify as an eBook? Will I qualify as an author when I publish it? lol The truth is, I said all I had to say, and I did not want to start mumbling just to increase word count.
It's really simple, I designed it in Canva, chose a simple book cover and then just added content pages.

I also just noticed that this will be my 100th post here at WA. Anyway, I just wanted to say a quick hello and to update you on what I have been up to.

I would categorically say that you are an author Rose. Send it out there and you will be a 'Published Author', which is very cool indeed.

P.S. I've just read your reply to Emma, I never realised that you could do that on Canva, I will have to investigate further, thank you.
Thank you Twack, and yes, you can design anything on Canva, check it out, you can just type anything you want to design in the search bar and you will find templates.

I hadn't noticed Canva's book cover templates before. Did you create all the pages in canva and download it as one document or put it together somewhere else?
I just designed the cover, added content pages, and then copy-pasted all my text to the pages, and then I downloaded it as a pdf file.
