Its been over a week since I started fixing the problem I had on Pinterest, if you read my previous post about this issue then you know that my Pinterest account got messed up after I moved my website to a new domain and deleted the old version of the site.

Of course, I did this after the move was complete. I thought that my pins on Pinterest will just redirect to the new domain, since I claimed the new domain on Pinterest immediately after moving my site. But that is not what happened.

I am going to share screen shorts of my progress, the clicks to my site are still very low, but the impressions and saves are improving. I just hope the clicks will pick up because these are the most important.

This screenshort is before the fix

And now this one below is after the fix as you can see the link clicks are not so good, but I am hopeful.

If you haven't read my previous post, and you don't know what I am talking about, I will link it here.

Anyway, I have done lots of work to fix my Pinterest account and I hope the coming few weeks will see improvement, and rise in link clicks.

If you are facing this problem, the best thing to do is to see which pins you are able to edit the destination link, and start with those, and then the ones you are not able to edit the link,( those would be the ones you had saved directly from your website)

what you need to do is click on the pin, then click on the 3 dots at the top, which will give you the option to download the image, then proceed to save the image on your computer and then delete the pin.

then you can go to create pin, and use the same image to create the new pin with the link new link, just don't forget to delete the old pin first before creating the new pin because Pinterest does not like seeing same image used in multiple pins linked to the same article, that will hurt your Pinterest account.

You can create multiple pins for the same article but you cannot use the same image. For example, I just created 3 pins linking to a review that I have on the site, but I used 3 different images and I used different colors and designs.

Conclusion

This was just a quick post to update you on what has been happening with my Pinterest account. It has taken me sometime to fix things but I think now all should be well. I still have to go through my boards again just to make sure I didn't miss anything.

I hope you are progressing well in your business and I Hope you and yours are safe. Here in Greece things are getting back to normal slowly, schools have opened and cafes and restaurants are open now.

Hotels will start opening on the 1st of June.

I will not take up any more of your time. Thank you so much for reading and if you have some comments, or questions, please leave them below.

Thank you for your time.

Rose.

Good tip to create 3 different pins using different images for 1 post. Will try that out!

Yes, it's a good idea, and you can schedule them to be published in intervals, you can make sure that you money maker articles(reviews) have fresh pins every week
