I Had A Productive Day By The Way Remember To Open Links In New Tab

Today I had quite a productive day, I wrote and published an article to one of my websites, then I recorded a video clip to add to a footage I had, then I edited the video and Published it on My YouTube Channel.

I am quite proud of myself, if I may say so myself lol.

Remember To Open Links In A New Tab

But the real reason why I am writing this blog, is to remind you to always check the open in new tab, when you add a link to your article. And to be honest I think some websites you have to open in new tab even if its an internal link, because some websites have so much content that if you click a link, and leave the page, you will not be able to find your way back if the link doesn't open in a new tab.

This just happened to me, I visited a website, and I clicked an internal link, and then I was lost and could not go back to the page I was on. I had to go back to Google and click the post again.

As I add more content on my websites, I am now starting to make my internal links open in new tab, that way the reader can easily go back to the page they were originally on.

Also, For The Images, Select Open In A New Tab

The next thing is the images, you need to always check the open in a new tab box, because the images will link to a link on the page, and sometimes we do forget to go through the images to see which link they are linked to.

So I think it would be wise to always check the open in a new tab box.

But if you can remember, Is wise to go through the images and see where they are linked to and sometimes to just select non because I have gotten error messages from Google saying that clickable elements are to close to each other, that's when images are clickable and maybe just under the image you also have a link.

Conclusion

This was just a quick post to remind you to check the open in a new tab, this is super important especially when it comes to external links, you don't want to lose your visitors.
