How To Write A Blog Post Using The Star Method

I came across this idea and I thought I would share it here, because it might help someone who is struggling to write a blog post. Especially those new members who are wondering how to write a blog post.

When you have finished setting up your website, it's time to write your very first blog post. You have researched on Jaaxy, and have found your 5 keywords. When I reached that point during the training, I really did not know how to start or how to word the blog post.

When I Didn't Know How To Write A Blog Post, I Found It Easier To Just Start With Introduction Of Today's Topic

I found it easier to just start the blog post by introducing the subject of the matter, which also gave me the opportunity to place my keyword in the first paragraph.

Try as much as you can to hit 1000 words although I must admit my first blog post was 500 words, I just couldn't find anymore to say, but I did go back later and updated the post, adding more words.

The only thing I can say, is don't over think it. when you think you have said what needed to be said, just hit publish. Remember you can always come back to the post and update it.

OK, Lets Get Into How To Write A Blog Post Using The Star Method.

The first step is to introduce the Situation. For example lets say we are writing about weightloss, The situation would be, the weight, how did it make you feel having those extra pounds?

Next step is Task, what needed to be done in order for you to shed those pounds?

Third Step Action, What steps did you take and what did you do to ensure that you followed step two so you can shed the said extra pounds?

Last step Results, what results did you get?

So Situation Task Action, Results That's The Star Method.

This method can work in any niche, it's the same as identifying the problem (situation) finding out what needs to be done (task) Doing what needs to be done to resolve the problem (Action)

Sharing what can be expected after all the steps were taken (results)

Conclusion

Writting your very first blog post is not so easy, yes we do have all the training we need here at WA, but some people still find it hard to write that very first blog post. And even after writing it, they find it difficult to hit the publish button because they are afraid.

But the truth is, there is nothing to be afraid of. Just publish the post because as someone said, Google can index, and rank a blog post that you think is not well written but you have published it. But Google will never index, and rank a blog post that is not published.

So go to your drafts and start publishing those articles.
