This is possible for people. However, it is not a guarantee.
The sky is the limit when it comes to working for yourself. There are always more options to look into. This does not always mean that you will be rich, but it does mean that you have the freedom to make your own decisions and make changes and try something new. With this freedom also comes the responsibility to use that freedom.
When it comes to working for someone, they set the limits and requirements for you. But they provide a sense of stability with a schedule and a paycheck.
Working for yourself vs. working for someone else is really dependent on each person. Some people prefer one over the other for their own reasons. Some people do better in one over another for their own reasons. Money should rarely be the main deciding factor for which to choose. There are times, the stress caused from the job you are in is really not worth the money you make. So, it is more of a personal choice on which suits you better. Success = being happy and comfortable with the choices you make in life.
Reminds me of “Rich Dad Poor Dad”. He explained that there are workers and entrepreneurs…you need to determine which you are. Great reply Mydeas!
If your statements are true, then we who came here 8 years ago are already billionaires. Sadly, we are not.
Now I expect you will tell me and other losers who came here in 2014, "then you must be doing something wrong".
Oh yes Roope, I am for sure, as we all do, but the truth is, things simply do not work that way. There is a beast cold Google that is able to transform every exponential growth into a logarithmic one (at best), if not to something even worse like a decreasing function for example.
In any case, if those numbers show your own progress, I can only congratulate you, and you are as smart as I always suspected you were.
