Growth can happen in many ways:

#1 Key to Growth

Growth usually takes time & effort.

Personally, I think the most important key to growth is analyzing your results & improving accordingly.

If you never sit down and analyze your results, your growth will likely be extremely slow, or alternatively, there will not be any growth at all.

That's why I'm hosting next Monday a class where I'll give lots of practical ideas & methods on how you can start analyzing your results as an affiliate marketer.

This is vital for anyone who wants to achieve good results online.

Subscribe for my next class right here.

By the way, thank you for everyone participating in my classes.

It's always a pleasure to prepare them and chat with some of you live :)

An Example of Growth

This year I've launched several new YouTube channels.

Below is the one that I started at the end of March.

For the first 3-4 weeks there were close to 0 views.

After that, it's been consistently growing.

Almost every week there has been a new record with daily views.

It's still nothing huge but the trend is good.

I've analyzed the results and I'll be re-uploading some of the videos targeting better keywords.

NOTE: YouTube SHOWS YOU WHAT WORKS!! They make it easier for you if you just dive into the Analytics.

Based on the analysis, simply by re-uploading those videos, I'll be getting a nice growth and a good amount of views.

Analyze your results! That leads to constant growth.

See you on Monday! :)

You are the YouTube Expert, Roope!

Jeff

Thanks Jeff

You're very welcome, Roope, and thank you for all that you do, my friend!

Jeff

Can you say more what you mean by re-uploading videos? They are on YT already so what do you do, add again with different title or what?

Yes.

Upload again with a different title/thumbnail/description.

Changing a title and a thumbnail makes a massive difference!

I have several examples when I've re-uploaded the same video and it has performed 5-10 times better than earlier.

Having a better title & thumbnail makes YouTube to show it to more people which leads to more views & more everything.

However, you may need to delete the old video if you re-upload exactly the same video. And also be careful that you don't over-use this strategy because only re-uploading videos wouldn't be wise on any channel.

You can edit title and change icon of the existing video. So are you saying that this is not the right way?

When you re-upload it with such new details (and delete the old version), it starts as a new video and performs better? Do I understand correctly? But you lose likes and watch hours with the removed video, so it is worth it.

I've also changed the title & thumbnail of the existing video but it doesn't usually have a similar effect.

If your old video has "died" and it isn't getting almost any views, then you don't lose anything by re-uploading the same video with new details.

It doesn't always perform better but I have many examples when it does.

OK, thanks, I just wanted to be sure what you are saying, it is clear now. Appreciated.

Hey Roope!

Firstly, nice looking growth there on one of your newest YT channels, I know it's still in its infancy but if it continues on the same trend then you have a winner for the future!

Analyzing our results is indeed important to see how and where improvements can be made but how often do you do this??

I have seen some that spend a lot of time everyday analyzing results, to the extent of doing little else.. which seems very counterproductive in my opinion..

What do you think my friend? :-)

That's a good topic Nick!

I agree that there should be a certain balance with it.

Focusing on key metrics and ignoring not-so-important metrics should also be considered.

I think part of the key is finding out what are the most important things to focus on.

Thanks Roope!

And I totally agree with you... spend the most time on what is important and the least time on what is not!

Awesome!

Thanks Ruth.

True, we must analyze stats to know where we are and what needs improvement. Thank you Roope, great blog post and share.

True. Glad to see you here every day Abie :)

Yes, business as usual :)
