Extend Your Current WA Premium During Black Friday?
Some people asked me already this year and also last year:
"My Premium membership will renew in February (or other time). Can I still take advantage of this amazing Black Friday 2019 deal and purchase the membership for $299/year."
Here's Kyle's response:
Yes, You definitely can. You will pay ONLY the $299 and it will add an entire year onto your membership. So, if you paid for yearly in August 2019, the additional $299 would take you right through to August 2021. Then moving forward, you will be on the lower Black Friday rate when your recurring billing comes due in 2021.

Should You Do It?
Yes.
When you get the $299/year, you will be grandfathered for that price. It means that even if the new members would need to pay a much higher price, you will get this cheapest price forever.
I wouldn't be surprised if Wealthy Affiliate membership prices would rise at some point. Personally, I think that the membership here is MUCH, MUCH more valuable than $359/year. Keep in mind that I am a frugal man who doesn't usually spend much money! ;)
But if you get this Black Friday deal, you don't need to be worry if the prices will go up. You will always get the cheapest price.

I am strongly considering taking advantage of the Black Friday deal next week. I have been on the month to month payment plan for the last 7 or 8 months so going yearly at this time will save me quite a bit per month!
My membership isn't set to renew for 2 more weeks and I was curious how payment would work out. Most members say my membership will be prorated when I go yearly so I was thinking I would pay slightly less than the $299 in that case. Your explanation is a bit different than I've been hearing.

I renewed right before my membership expired last year, and it ended up only costing me $283!

Yeah, I think that changing from monthly you'll just pay less like Jeff explained ($283 for 12 months). For extending yearly it just adds 1 year on top of your current time.
