EXPERIMENT: 2 TikTok Channels -> 2 Videos Per Day!

If you have followed my posts lately, you saw that my TikTok account got banned without any reason.

Then I recovered it after 8 days.

During those 8 days, I created a new TikTok account that got 4,000+ followers fast.

As a result, I have now 2 TikTok accounts (the old one with 50,000+ followers that got recovered and a new one).

I made the following plan:

1 Account for English & 1 Account for Finnish

In the past, I've made most of my TikTok videos in Finnish...

I started in English but I quickly noticed that TikTok is showing my videos mostly to Finnish people because my SIM card/phone are registered in Finland.

Therefore, I switched to Finnish and it got nice traction.

Meanwhile, I saw that several people from the US and the UK have been completely crushing it and getting 100,000's followers with a relatively low effort.

I've been thinking, "People from the US / UK are so blessed because they get their videos served to their country's English-speaking audience first which leads to huge results."

Some time ago, I created a new account in English but since I was living in Costa Rica, all the viewers were from Costa Rica and it didn't get almost any traction.

Then happened the "TikTok episode" that they banned my account and recovered it...

As a result, I have 2 accounts so I thought that I'm going to try the following:

• I'll use the bigger account (50,000+ followers) to publish only English content. I'll try this for long enough to see if at some point TikTok starts too show my videos to the US/UK audience too. I started today by publishing the first video in English...
  
• I'll use the new account (4,000+ Finnish followers) to publish only Finnish content. The reason I still want to publish Finnish content is that almost every single TikTok user in Finland knows me. I've already built a relationship with a Finnish audience so it's easy to built on top of that.

How Long Will I Test This?

Long enough.

I'm not sure if TikTok will ever start serving my content to the US/UK audience first despite my location (currently Mexico) but I hope it will.

I'll give it at least a few weeks and monitor the stats weekly if the US-based start increasing. If I see a consistent increase in the US-based audience and a decrease in the Finnish-based audience, I'll probably continue doing that until it flips in a way that most of my followers will be from the US.

Why TikTok?

TikTok is a beast.

It can give you huge boosts in traffic that you have never seen any other platform organically. Especially, if you are from the US, UK, Australia or Canada!

I know several people who have skyrocketed their YouTube channels thanks to TikTok. It has also helped me to grow my YouTube channel even though it hasn't been 100% optimal since I'm not from one of the English-speaking countries.

That being said...

I publish only 1 video per day per account at the moment in order not to spend too much time on the platform. After publishing the videos, I just delete the app and download it again the next day when it comes time to publish a new video.

At the moment, I'm also daily building a YouTube course which will be my bigger focus for me moving forward.
