+$2,200 in 20 hours - This Works!

Many of you who read this are probably just starting out here at Wealthy Affiliate and thinking about questions such,

1. "Does Wealthy Affiliate really work?
2. Can I really make money online?
3. Can I succeed even though I don't have any prior experience of affiliate marketing?"

Let me answer in 3 words: "YES! YES! YES!"

Here's a longer answer in 8 words; "YES! THIS WORKS BETTER THAN YOU CAN EXPECT!"

When I started out here, I wrote my goal that I'd be super excited to make 2,000€/month ($2,275/month) online.

To be completely honest with you, I thought it's hardly even possible. I didn't fully believe I could make it myself.

Now recently I made that same amount in 1 single day! (it actually happened already in February but I wanted to post about it here only after I really got the money in my bank account.)

Here are 5 takeaways and thoughts that I wanted to share with you regarding this nice experience.

5 Takeaways From a +$2,2k Day

1. I made two +$1,000 commissions from a high-ticket affiliate training program that I recently started promoting.

=> It's easier to make money online with big commissions. I started off at WA by reviewing books on my first site. If you manage to sell a $10 book on Amazon for a 4% commission, you'll make only $0,40.

You would need to sell 2,500 such books to make a similar money that you would earn with a single $1,000 commission.

Of course, you need to make sure that that product you promote is worth promoting and providing real value to your audience. I spent 2-3 months first to make sure the program is worth promoting.

2. Email Marketing makes things so much easier in the long run. I was especially happy with this +$2k day because it came 'relatively easy'. I basically needed to send a few emails that made me the commissions.

Of course, I have needed to do a lot of work beforehand to build an email list. But once you have it, it's a huge asset that makes things easier. You can promote products to a 'warm' or 'hot' audience instead of random website visitors.

You have the power to send a email to 100's or even 1,000's of targed people quickly.

3. This is NOT a typical day for me (yet). When I started here, I saw some guys posting that they made +$10,000/month in December and November.

I thought like, "Wow! They're now making +$10,000/month passive income online with affiliate marketing and they could retire if they want." -> completely false thinking!

First, this was a highlight day, not a typical day.

Second, if I want to make similar days in the future, it'll most likely require work/effort and will not come 100% passively.

However, I'm obviously not going to stop here and I'll pursue for more! I know there are many people within the Wealthy Affiliate community who have made much, much more than $2,2k in a day and for them this is just a pocket money! ;)

That just illustrates the huge potential with this 'internet marketing thing'.

I'm sure that at some day in the future, $2,2k will be my typical day. It will obviously take a lot of time + effort to get there. What an amazing feeling to think about it and start working towards there.

4. ANYBODY CAN. I say this always because it's the truth.

If you're a human being and you can read & write English, you can make a nice income with affiliate marketing online.

It's not a matter of whether or not you can, it's a matter of whether or not you will. For example, this week I relaxed too much. I know that if I'd keep on relaxing like that constantly, I'd start sliding down with my online business.

So, you'll need to put in the effort consistently. Then you can achieve anything. Remember also to ask questions from more experienced members often for guidance.

5. You'll most likely achieve much more than you've ever expected or imagined IF you keep on working and never quit.

I know 10's of full-time Internet marketers personally. When I've talked with them, I realized that almost all of them have achieved much more in their Internet marketing careers than they ever expected.

Internet marketing is a much more profitable path for you than almost any 9-5 job. Not only in terms of money but also in how many people you can impact positively and other things.

Even though I have still decades to go on this journey, it already amazes me how many people I can reach at this point.

Imagine that you can literally impact 1,000,000's of lives positively during your lifetime if you use the Internet. That's just mind-boggling and extremely exciting!

Conclusion: If I can do it, YOU can do it!

Here's a short recap of the 5 points.

1. You'll earn more money if you promote products with bigger commissions.
2. Email marketing makes things easier (in my personal opinion and experience).
3. This is NOT a typical day for me yet but it will be in the future.
4. Anybody can achieve even much greater results. You can as well.
5. You'll achieve more than you've expected during your journey at Wealthy Affiliate.

Think about the last point.

Those who are here at Wealthy Affiliate just for the short-term will most likely achieve less than they expected.

But those continue and aim for the long-term will make much more than they even imagined is possible.
