I have a mature and well established website but not nearly enough traffic coming to it.
I am wondering if anyone in the WA community has had any experience good or bad
Hi - perhaps you need to think about why you are not getting much traffic. That would imply that although your site is well-established, your posts are not being ranked highly by Google.
If you are in a competitive niche, you need to show authority in a narrow aspect of it.
Hi, the way I'd go about it is first study my stats and know my audience. Who are they? Where are they coming from?
And then devise strategies onto which media best suits leveraging my audience.
Hope this makes sense.
I have not used any of those but I have found running ads on Facebook and other social media platforms works well for getting traffic
How about these ways of getting free traffic.?

Each of those people or companies you've mentioned above are legit to do business with. The question is what are you looking for to accomplish with their programs? Many successful people now are using Cloud based software to do business with. I agree that their software are mostly about upsells. But I just want to let you know that software costs money and by giving you a tease of their product so that you can buy the very basic one to see if you like it, then upsell you to the full program is worth the price. It looks good to them if you decided to return the basic program which can be from $17-$39 than to return the whole cost of the program which runs from $199 to $499 or more. This strategy works well, but some vendors are now giving you the cost of the whole program without upsells. All the best!

Hey Roland,
Not surprised that no one has stepped forward in 5 hours to say that want to buy your site, because we are all here learning how to create our website.
If you are interested in selling your site, there is information that is freely accessible to you here on WA on doing just that. See screen print below to see how to find this info...

Thank you Catherine for your reply. I am not sure what you mean by "contact list". Are you referring to my followers here in WA, those who have commented on my blogs, my personal email list, or what?
Roland
Hi - when you say "many many months" - is that more than 6 months? If you don't make 3 sales in 180 days, your account is terminated. Your links will still work but you don't get commission.
And yes, you cannot use your own links, or allow friends or relatives to purchase through them.
Thank you for your response Diane. I have been connected to Amazon now for almost a year and did get terminated once but rejoined.
I am not clear what you mean by "your own links" Do you mean links that are on my web site blogs, or links that I would use if I was personally ordering something from Amazon?
In short, if a friend of mine for example who followed my site on a regular basis wanted to order a product from Amazon that I recommended, are you saying I would not get paid a commission on that? How would Amazon know that they were a friend of mine?
Thanks for your help.
Roland
Hi - if you personally wanted to order something from Amazon, you could not buy it through clicking a link on your own website.
Amazon checks the IP address, which shows where the computer is located, so that way, they can see if it is somebody in your own household that orders. They also consider if the customer has the same surname as yourself.
They do have a method of accessing your own personal email list, but I have no idea how they do this. So, if your friend is on your email contact list, they wouldn't be able to order through your website. It sounds unbelievable, but there are plenty of members here who have had it happen to them.
I took a look at your site. Your Affiliate Disclosure does not meet Amazon's guidelines. You have to say this exact phrase:
"As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases"
Thank you Diane. Your information has been very helpful.
When Amazon terminates me again in another couple of months, as much as I hoped to earn through them, I think it may be time to move on to someone else given how hard it is to deal with them.
Thanks again.

Hi - you may be interested to learn I recently sold a phone through my Amazon links for £217 and my commission was £1.87 !! Makes you wonder if it's worth it.
PM me a link to one of your pages with an amazon link and I'll go through it for my next purchase. Too bad I already made one earlier today.

Thank you Shirley for your replay and your kind offer to purchase something through my site. Since my niche is Health and Fitness, the products I recommend of course are along that line.
A couple of the recommendations I have made that you might like to check on are a fitness tracker at https://amzn.to/35JmHyY and a exercise machine at https://amzn.to/2OaMoB0 or you can see a number of links in my blog at http://fabuloushealthnews.com/bowflex-max-trainer-alternatives.
Thanks again for your help.

That's definitely a catch 22. I have not had any issues and i have been with them for years also. I just logged in hoping I could find a support email address for you but no luck.
Thanks for your effort. I did get an recording machine on one of the numbers I called and they promised to call me back within 48 hours but I don't plan on holding my breath.
