Why WA Is Critical For Our Success
When I first went to university back in 1960, I completed a 1-year teacher training program at the U of A, Edmonton, Alberta and receive a lifetime certification to teach all subjects to grade 1 to 9 students in Alberta Public Schools. Over the years thru many night school and additional years, an M. Ed. was mine that legally allowed me to teach, but in reality it was a total farce, especially with the quickly changing technology we then lived in.
My attitude changed and students became LEARNERS and I became a FACILITATOR, but it was not enough. I also had to become an engaged, passionate LEARNER in order to prepare my LEARNERS and myself for the future that was now and finding LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS that would make it that happen became a priority
On-line university courses, books and conferences all helped, but what really made a difference for me was when I stumbled upon WEALTHYAFFILIATE.COM.
Here was a learning environment where everyone was supported by like-mined passionate peers/learners, where I could maintain the necessary knowledge and skill level in an ever more rapidly changing world.
In Salim Ismail's book "Exponential Organizations" it states on page 59 "... the half life of a learned skill used to be about thirty years. Today it's down to about five years."
I have only been at WealthyAffiliate for two years and am still learning new knowledge and skills daily. Kyle and Carson keep the learning environment up-to-date with the very latest in what works the best and that is why WEALTHY AFFILIATE is so critical for our success!

Hi Roger, what you say is so true. We must also be in the learning mode and we need to always seek the most updated and advanced processes if we are going to stay in the game. That is why I am so grateful that we have leaders like Kyle and Carson who believe this whole heatedly. They are truly at the top of the pinnacle. Hi Roger I remember hearing an IBMer´s view back in the 80´s that computer literacy was the new fundamental Requirement, like reading writing and arithmetic. How true, and everyone needs to keep learning as technology and business methods evolve. At that time who would have forecast the rise of social media, and even learning via social media, i.e. WA. The longer I live the more and faster change comes. Sure can keep one busy if one is passionate about learning.
