Flip & flipping
Growing up on a small, mixed farm in the 1940’s and 50’s, I thought FLIP and FLIPPING meant it was pancakes again - the favourite supper of us 5 growing boys. It has pretty well remained that way over the years and now I have a Chinese wife who has learned how to FLIP a perfect pancake for my lunch.
The meaning of the words has changed so greatly that last night I had a lucid dream about the philosophy of THE FLIP and FLIPPING. I awoke and laid in bed thinking of the great changes taking place in my world and the renewed popularity of the word THE FLIP. Then I understand that we would FLIP from using horses to a farm truck; from a kerosene lantern to electric lights; from a thrashing machine to combine; and from walking to school to taking a yellow school bus.
We talked about the old ways we had FLIPPED from, but rarely did we ever FLIPPED back.
Today we say are the Conservatives going to FLIP the Liberals in Canada; the Republican FLIP the Democrats? When will China FLIP the USA like the USA FLIPPED Europe? Will clean uranium FLIP dirty coal and oil for generating electricity? The world is always FLIPPING something, and it always feels like progress, and we really don’t want to go back to the old ways.
My point is that Bitcoin, The Blockchain, and Smart Contracts with DECENTRALIZED Control are now FLIPPING an economic system that does not serve the majority. Yes, change means we must get educated and adapt, but we always FLIP in the long run.

That is very true. Change always keeps coming as part of our evolution. Death is one big change and it's unavoidable.
I try not to be leary of it as I am approaching it. Instead my path is to learn more about death, spiritualism, meditation, consciousness, near-death-experiences, out-of-bodyexperiences, lucid dreaming and related experiences of beings.
You have a very positive outlook, Roger! We all need to be that way, my friend, and we should all enjoy the ride--the good times, and the bad!
