I don’t normally care about being popular but is there a way to get my popular post category some notice?

Posting on my website have become my therapy which I love doing, but something has been bugging me of late and that is this, how can I draw more attention to the popular post category on my website; I’m not sure if there is a way to do this but if there is then I’m willing to try it. I’ve never been obsessed with popularity but I do care that my website gets it.

So to keep this simple, is there a way to make my popular post category on my website blow up so as to direct people and/or traffic to it as a means of getting more traffic?

Hey Rodney, did you figure out how to do this? I seen online there’s a plugin but there are ways without a plugin with codes which didn’t work for me. What worked for you?

Hi Rodney, if I was you wanting to get huge attention for gamers to read my gamer blog, “word of mouth advertising” helps. Gaming groups, like on FB, careful not to spam the group they can evict you but can start slowly get people to trust you. Have you connected with Robert boomergp08? He is ranked number 11 on WA. You can find him when you click your rank number. He is a gamer also. Perhaps he can advise you, he gives out trainings on some relevant issues. YouTube is the best, read their Terms of Services they can give you the YouTube ban be sure to put disclaimer that the sites you promoting has affiliate links and be sure use a forwarding domain to the affiliate links indirect affiliate links are not really accepted by some social media sites. I like to use pretty links or a forwarding domain that links to your gaming websites. There are offline advertising you can do. For a small fee you can go to free logo services website to get business cards, flyers, different items there you can purchase to give a way. If your hometown has a chamber of commerce for young entrepreneurs event go there hang out and give out business cards, or craft business usually during time of Winter holidays thats popular. Summer events. I used to go to baseball games, or local sporting events and mix and mingle with people in community did that for my mortgage business. Got a few sales from doing that. I was mostly taught on word of mouth advertising and social events. Gave out free pens, T-shirts, business cards related to my mortgage company and I would ask for email then send it through my autoresponder. Flyers can be posted at food stores if they have a flyer board, or at a community center, or places where flyers and business cards are allowed, loacl community colleges and universities. Connect with your local chamber of commerce in your area. They have list of events. Local gyms like LA fitness or community pool area where flyers are accepted. Gaming stores connect with owners of the shop of course with gamers you are always going to find ego guys thats nature part of the business dont let that get to you, move on, next. Those are ways you can do it requires being out there, getting your face out there, you feel me?

May I asked this question, what's your measuring rod to say your post is popular?

Well, gamers like to know the latest in the gaming world; my angle, to bring them just that hence my popular posts.

If the game is popular as of these days people will surely look for it and all related posts for that video game will be found.
The video game is a niche in itself so all people who are looking for that game will find your post.

One way to popularize your post is to bring it in the social media.

I've thought of that already, I've been doing that.

check some of smartketeer's trainings I wouldn't be surprised if he has a technical article on the matter.

I'll look into it.

I have found social media a great place to get extra traffic to my website. Also forums, I have been in forums to do with my niche, answering questions and I just leave a link to a page or my website address and it seems to be really boosting traffic? I'm sure the wonderful WA community will come up with many more ideas
