All depends on the traffic in the world can take a few days or a few weeks to actually get ranked

of course it is. G will rank your page for as long as it takes for someone else to outrank you

I want to set one of my pages to have a downloadable image.
Anybody who knows a plugin?

You bet Rock. I probably should've clarified it a bit... when adding the image as a downloadable file, just select an image from your files or something like Google Drive as in example #3 (audio file) instead of a document. Should work perfectly for ya' and you don't waste the site speed with another plugin!

Every image on your site is downloadable (right click...save image) if you are not using a plugin that prevents that.
Alternatively, you can make the image a clickable link to itself.
Not sure what your goal is you are trying to achieve.
Might be able to help you better if I knew.

Search a bit on Google.
Stuff like "sell images theme".
(Even if you don't want to sell them.)

I just notice. "Akismet" is not in the default plugin anymore (In new websites)?
