I bought a wordpress theme off themeforest a few years ago that I really like called NEWSPAPER, can I install it here?
Hi, I purchased a theme from themeforest a while back but had problems using it with WA hosting as it required an "outbound connection". Basically, it means that in order to function properly it had to talk to the theme creator. WA doesn't usually allow this to happen for security reasons. It you run into any problems contact the Wa support team and see if you can find a way around it.
You'll know if you run into issues as it'll say something along the lines of "cannot connect to host" when you try and install your theme.
Just wanted to prewarn you incase you encounter problems and wonder why.
Lucky enough it installed fine seems to be up and running ok. Now I just have to learn wordpress lol... But thanks for the insight into possible gotchas...

I have a friend who owns a very successful website in the niche I am in. The past year he his site has been attacked with BAD LINKS being pointed to them by competitors. Is the
Kissmetrics has an article titled "How to Protect Your Website from Negative SEO" which gives webmasters some options. Google Security website says that Google can assess which links are trustworthy and should not be a problem for most websites. Google does have a tool called Disavow which they said should be used only as a last resort.
Thanks that was the first article I seen but since his website is established don't think he wants to go the nuclear route, though I think I might do that ahead of time to prevent what happened to him. Then again that is off in the future! Right now have to study a great deal more before i reach that point.
