Has My Niché Peaked?
As I've been on WA for over 3 years now I've started to get a little put off with the fact that I'm seeing no results. I've been looking into every avenue as to how I can make my site better.
It seems to me that a dawning realisation has happened! I am way too focussed on getting everything looking perfect straight away!! This is one trait that I wish I could have overcome quicker.
Yes of course it's natural to want everything just so,but not at the expense of great content, or lack of in my case!
I've recently moved my writing desk to a less distracting place in my home and i'm already feeling more focussed.
A Site or Sore Eyes...or am I Up the Creak!!?
This screengrab at the top of this post shows the Google Trend graph for a general keyword (the most important one) in my niché and you can see year on year it's getting less popular.
Should this bother me?..I think I won't let it for now as Jaxxy keyword tool is still coming up with keywords for my blogs.
Heres a screengrab of my main keyword and another hot topic:
The RED line is the keyword 'weight loss' and the BLUE line is the search term 'guitar'.
As you can see both have similarities, peaks around christmas and the start of the new year but both are falling over time and 'guitar' seems to be more popular overall - unless i'm reading this wrong or inputting in the wrong way - please correct me if so!
This is just one word and very general so it's hard to tell weather this should be taken so seriously - my nitché has many avenues I could incorporate so I'm also thinking of becoming a little more general with my reviews and include related items such as audio interfaces, hi-fi, headphones etc...
Getting Paddling Again!
It seems that my issue is too much time getting my site pixel perfect rather than focussing on content creation. I have 10 posts in total on my site so basically 3 posts per year!! oh dear not very productive!!
Now this is beginning to finally sink in for me I'm clearer now and think i'd better crack on with writing. I have an exel sheet of over 50 keywords and have made my post templates in wordpress - i'm feeling positive again that I can do this.
If you are ever struggling or feeling low about your achievements here just share with the WA community, thats what I did and I recieved the encourage and motivation I needed just at the right time!

I think that you have answered your own questioning, use the support here to springboard you back into content creation, 50 keywords equals 50 posts.

Thanks Alex! Yep, I guess i did answer my own question, it's good to know my brain still works, i like it when that happens!
