Turn Your Passion Into Profit

Last Update: April 08, 2019

My oldest son has a severe case of GOLD FEVER.

It's not terminal but there is no known cure.

Unfortunately, his prospecting prowess has yet to reach a profitable apex and finding QUANTITY has been elusive.

Yet, still...

LAST MONTH he pulled in a few THOUSAND dollars!

By turning his passion into profit.

More specifically...

  1. He files a gold claim in a promising area that costs $300 to $600
  2. He 'works the dirt' in an attempt to alleviate fever symptoms
  3. When the fever cools he takes pictures, core samples and maps the claim with GPS coordinates, etc., etc., and digs into the history of the area and it's gold production.
  4. He writes creates a new blog post/page and LISTS the claim for sale.
  5. He runs a few keyword targeted ADS to the page.
  6. He sells the claim for thousands!

What do YOU enjoy doing? What keeps you actively engaged? Are there 'others' out there in the world, like you, who like what you like?

If so... have you considered maybe turning YOUR PASSION into a profit center?

Sounds like fun, doesn't it?

Bless and be blessed,

Rob, thanks for sharing the inspiration.

Your son sounds like he has a true gift when it comes to turning what might be described as an uncommon passion into something truly profitable. I saw the magic example below also.

He certainly demonstrates the power niches. It sounds like he also has an amazing work ethic and focus.

I wish him much success on his current/next project.

Thank you, Sondra. It's been fun to watch him grown up and do his thing - which, at first glance, usually seems a bit off the beaten trail but seems to always work out.

He motto, "I'm going to do it anyway so it will either cost me money or it can make me money... and I like the 2nd option better. Winter is coming. Let's get to work."

Some sites are "anti-talent". You know what makes me love this site? It foster growing of talent. It foster creativity. People get pushed to unleashing their best, to turn passion into gold, or even a diamond.

"Anti-Talent" - I like that and it rings true. I've actually been in a few programs/sites/memberships/groups where either everyone is singing the same tune... or competing to be heard... or simply regurgitating the same ole, same ole. Here we have such a wide variety of people doing some many different things it is fun playground to hang out in.

It's been fun to watch him pull this off over the past couple of years. He has always had a knack for finding these weird little off-the-wall niches... usually something he in actively engaged in at the time... and makes money following his passion.

At 17 he built his first site about 'magic' which had captured his attention and later sold it for 6 figures. Gotta love it.

Wow... thats impressive, but the trick is he is NOT looking to make money though, so very clever

For anyone who is new here or not yet achieved what they want... this is the perfect message.

I agree. I think a lot of people get started with no real plan in mind because they don't know the landscape, if you will, and tend to DEFAULT into promoting things because 'others' seem to have success promoting it. YET, often the best option would be to build out... from the beginning... that which YOU are passionate about. Makes it a whole lot more fun anyway.
