Making Progress toward becoming a Wealthy Affiliate, or so I hope!
This is my first blog so bear with me.
Making some progress at WA and learning a lot. More than I had expected. I'm getting toward the end of Level 2 training so things are moving along, slowly but surely.
My niche is Genealogy which I have been doing as a hobby for the past 25 years or so. Mostly mine and my wife's family tree and history. I thought that some of the things I have learned over the years someone else may benefit from. Also hoping to make some money eventually to add to my pension.
Probably the biggest success I've had so far is learning what a genealogy GEDCOM is since I have seen the term many times over the years but had never taken the time to investigate what it is and what it does. In order to make an educated presentation for new genealogists I have done some research on the subject and found that it may benefit me in my future research.
My plans for the next 3 months are to keep plugging away at creating a cool website that will eventually help some other genealogists out and make some money at the same time.
My 6 month goal is to have the website up and running with lots of traffic and making some money at the same time.
I hope everyone else at WA is having the same success or more.

Great job Robert. Focus on the traffic by seeing how many page 1 SERPs you can get. To do that you, of course, will need to be posting content regularly and often.
Once you start getting a steady and growing stream of traffic the money part will fall into place.

It's nice to meet you. I saw a comment of yours on another page an' was really pleased by the niche you have chosen. Genealogy is a topic I have never been able to conquer, myself, although I have been trying to understand it for the last forty-nine years.
I'm sure you will do well in teaching genealogy an' the 'Ins' and 'Outs" of how to master it. I went to your website an' realized you do have a lotta' information there. It seems obvious to me that you know your topic very well.
