Have you wanted to change your niche? I did. And, I changed it.

I couldn't explain it at first. My first website was going fairly well for a beginner. I wasn't getting a lot of traffic, but at least I was writing a fair amount. After a while, my interest faded in that niche.

I struggled to find what I wanted to do next. My first niche was something I enjoyed but it wasn't something I was passionate about. Then, I started having more leadership discussions with people.

That was the spark.

I have written more articles on my new site under my new niche than I ever had with my previous site. It was rewarding becasue I didn't want to have to start all over again. It was agravating to jump through the hoops of recreating the site, analytics, webmaster tools, and plugins necessary to make my new site successful.

Also, I've been asking more questions. The best part I have found at WA is the community that's here. I could ask a question and get a professional response. Also, I have contacted several people here on PM who have mentored and guided me thus far.

Suprisingly, I still haven't made a sale. I've hit the two month marker on my new site, and I'm still struggling with traffic. Also, the technical part of the site can be daunting as well. However, despite these issues, it's best to continue. I have wanted a second income for a long time, and this is a great way to do it.

Principally, I want to thank you, WA family, for the support, comments, answers to questions, and guidance thus far. I'll continue to press forward. The grind is real, and sometimes it's good to acknowledge the hardship that comes with such a process.
