Making Money With Your Home Based Business

I see so many 'Newbies' on Live Chat asking the same questions.
- How do I make money?
- What will I make money from?
- Who will pay me?
- Do I need a website?
- Do I need to buy a domain?
- What do I do to get started?
- How long will it take to make money?
All reasonable enough questions so this blog is my reply to all of them.
As my title says - What Is Online Marketing
With the prevalence of the Internet as a way of doing business comes a fantastic business opportunity. You can easily have your own internet based home business with no inventory to buy or stock. How is this possible you've been asking?
Many of the Internet based home businesses do not have a storefront and many of them operate out of a home office.
The general idea behind any internet based home business is to let you work from home at your own pace whenever you want. You do have to purchase a domain name and acquire web hosting. This initial fee is not high and nowhere near what it would cost you to set up a regular bricks and mortar business. (Wealthy Affiliate has a very good deal for domain names and hosting)
Before you get started you have to find something for which people want information and then supply it for them by selling it directly from a website. Always remember that however small, you are selling a solution to a problem.
Along with having your own product or access to another product that consumers want, you can join an affiliate program.
This type of home based business means that a company will pay you a percentage to have a link directly to its website on the pages of your site. Each time a customer clicks through your site and makes a purchase you will earn a commission. The amount of money you earn from each online sale may not be that high. However when you have enough people ordering through your site, you could have a very profitable online business indeed.
Set up your own online store website with a variety of products for sale. This is quite possible as a home business. With this type of opportunity, you can resell the products of different manufacturers online without having to purchase an inventory of products. You advertise your online business opportunity and when a customer orders through your business, you simply send the order off to the manufacturer.
Since the customer pays you for the product with a credit card, you do need to have merchant account, which you set up through your bank or PayPal.com. The manufacturer sends the order to the customer and you retain the profits from every sale.
The only thing that keeps people from setting up their own Internet based home business is their imagination.
Get creative. There is a world of opportunity waiting for you online.
An internet based home business is a great business to be to make money from. Now that you're here - take the training and lessons. Ask questions. Create a website or two and you will be well on your way to earning an income from the internet.

Robert, I've not made any money consistently to give sound council on how to make money online. I'm struggling most times just understanding the training. I go back two to three times on training to justify moving on to the next course. I don't want to give someone bad information.
When I feel confident and making money on a consistent basis I will be happy to share. For now, I will study and work on my business.

Its entirely relevant developing an online business because there will simply be lots of trial and error.
Don't worry about it, we have all been there and if somebody tells you its easy then walk away because they obviously don't know their behind from their elbow as my old grannie used to say lol.
